Sutton left Sunday's game against the Seahawks with a biceps injury, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sutton had logged about 40 snaps in each of the Bears' first two games, but even before the injury surfaced, he looked bound for a decline in playing time. Jeremiah Ratliff will return from a three-game suspension during the Week 4 matchup with the Raiders, resulting in Sutton moving back to a bench role. The Bears will see how Sutton progresses from the injury during the week of practice before determining if he will be available for the upcoming game.

Sutton recorded two stops in Sunday's 48-23 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Sutton has started each of the Bears' first two games with Jeremiah Ratliff under suspension, but as the team's three-technique tackle, he's done little to stymie the ground game. The former Arizona State standout is best optimized as a pass rusher, but those skills aren't easily maximized as a 3-4 defensive lineman. The Bears aren't expected to remove Sutton from the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, but with Ratliff slated to return the following week, look for Sutton to head back to the bench.

Sutton played in 15 games as a rookie, finishing with 22 tackles and two passes defensed.
Sutton's snap counts varied wildly throughout the season, with his largest workloads coming when Jeremiah Ratliff missed time with injuries. The third-rounder didn't showcase the pass-rushing skills from the inside that he demonstrated during his collegiate career at Arizona State, but did at least prove to be a serviceable cog as a rotational tackle for the Bears. His chances of making a more significant impact in 2015 will hinge on whether or not the Bears are able to retain Ratliff and Stephen Paea as their starting tackles.

Sutton recorded three tackles in Monday's win over the Jets.
With Jeremiah Ratliff (concussion) unavailable Monday, Sutton and fellow rookie Ego Ferguson stepped in to fill the void in the middle, doing so quite admirably. Sutton probably carries the greater upside of the two players given the pass-rushing skills he showcased during a dominant college career at Arizona State, but it was Ferguson that was the more disruptive of the two Monday, as he finished with a sack and another hit on the quarterback. If Ratliff misses further games due to the concussion, both Sutton and Ferguson would likely continue to work in a timeshare at the position, limiting the ability of either to post any notable tackle totals.

Bears signed third-round DT Will Sutton to a four-year contract.
And the Bears are the first team to have their draft class signed. Sutton (6-foot 1/4, 303) needs to get his weight back down to where he can play effectively, but he should be in the mix for snaps at three-technique right away.
