EDGE Analysis
Davis was forced to exit during the second quarter of Sunday's game and did not return. After missing the Colts' first two games of the season due to an ankle injury, Davis will now be subject to league protocol ahead of this Sunday's game versus the Packers.

Davis (ankle) is active for Week 3.
EDGE Analysis
News of Davis' status could not have come at a better time for a Colts defense that has been decimated in the secondary. Davis will look to help contain the red-hot Chargers offense Sunday in a pivotal Week 3 game.

Davis (ankle) is considered questionable to play Sunday against the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Davis was upgraded to a full participant in Friday's practice after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. If he's able to go this week, his availability could pay dividends for a Colts secondary already without Patrick Robinson (concussion) and Darius Butler (hamstring).

Davis (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis suffered ligament damage in his ankle during the preseason and had been held out of action since. However, even though he resumed practicing, it seems unlikely he makes his regular season debut this Sunday against the Chargers.

Davis (ankle) is nearing a return to practice, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After Davis suffered ligament damage to his ankle earlier in August, it was reported that he could potentially miss the first month of the season. However, it appears the Colts may get him back sooner than initially believed, as he's nearing a return to the practice field. While it seems unlikely he'll be available for Sunday's game against the Chargers, a return shortly thereafter is not out of the question. The Colts are dealing with a ton of injuries in their secondary, so a return from Davis would be a big step in solving some of their early season defensive woes.

Davis (ankle) is ruled out for Sunday's game against Denver.
EDGE Analysis
While his timetable for a return to the field is getting closer, Davis is still likely to miss the next several weeks as he recovers from the ligament damage in his ankle. Davis has yet to return to practice, so the Colts are likely not counting on his availability anytime soon. Antonio Cromartie is expected to fill his void.

EDGE Analysis
Davis is still expected to be out for couple weeks, as he was slated to miss the first month of the regular season after suffering from ligament damage in his ankle. Antonio Cromartie will likely continue to fill in for Davis, although he did struggle in the season-opener.

Davis has ligament damage in ankle and is expected to miss at least first month of season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Colts head coach Chuck Pagano had only termed Davis' injury as "week to week" but this report would indicate he'll be out much longer. With Davis, Patrick Robinson (groin), Darius Butler (hamstring) and Jalil Brown (ankle) all hurt, the Colts signed Antonio Cromartie on Monday.

Davis (undisclosed) is considered week-to-week, according to coach Chuck Pagano.
EDGE Analysis
Davis, who missed Indianapolis' preseason game versus the Ravens over the week, was initially thought to be dealing with a minor undisclosed injury. However, upon Pagano's revelation Monday that Davis is viewed as week-to-week, it's clear he's carrying a more significant ailment than previously thought. While it's still unknown what's bothering Davis, it's worth noting that a foot injury plagued him throughout last season. Although Davis reported to being 100 percent at the start of OTAs, that's obviously not the case anymore, so hopefully more details regarding his injury are made available soon.
