Jackson (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
While the nature of Jackson's knee injury hasn't been revealed, he's expected to miss multiple weeks as he tends to the concern. Wednesday's absence backs up that sentiment, meaning another significant snap count could be in store for Donteea Dye on Sunday against the Giants.

Jackson (knee) is inactive for Sunday's contest at Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Thus begins what could be the start of a multi-game absence, as intimated by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network during the week. With Jackson and Austin Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) sidelined, plenty of volume exists for wideouts Donteea Dye, Russell Shepard (hamstring), and Adam Humphries to factor into the Buccaneers' aerial attack.

Jackson (knee) is not expected to play Sunday against Atlanta, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
EDGE Analysis
This report shouldn't be a surprise since Jackson was listed as doubtful on the injury report. Still, we'll want to make sure he's officially out when inactives are released before kickoff.

Jackson (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game in Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Unable to practice all week, Jackson doesn't seem to have any real shot at playing, even though the Bucs list him as 'doubtful' rather than 'out'. With Louis Murphy (knee) done for the season, the Bucs will rely on Russell Shepard (probable-ankle) and Donteea Dye to work alongside Mike Evans, who should see plenty of targets in Sunday's game.

Jackson (knee) did not take part in Friday's practice, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was not able to practice at all this week, so it would seem his chances of playing Sunday against the Falcons are slim. The Buccaneers will provide an official update on Jackson's status Friday afternoon, but those who have been considering using him this week should be evaluating other options.

Jackson (knee) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice, Jenna Laine of Sports Talk 1040 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was knocked out of Sunday's loss at Washington with a knee injury, but in the aftermath of the game, he believed that he would be fine moving forward. By midweek, though, it was revealed that a multi-week absence could be in store for the veteran wide receiver. After Wednesday's practice, head coach Lovie Smith told the Tampa Bay Times, "He has a knee injury. As far as multiple [weeks], we're not ready to go into much detail on that because we don't know more. It hasn't been that long since the game. He wasn't able to finish the game. He wasn't able to practice today. That's where we are right now." Another DNP on Friday would appear to forecast inactive status Sunday in Atlanta, but the final injury report of the week will ultimately set the tone.

Jackson (knee) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was knocked out of the Bucs' Week 8 loss at Washington with a knee injury, which is expected to force a multi-game absence. With such a prognosis, he should be ruled out for Sunday's game in Atlanta before week's end, as no-shows at practice dominate his next few weeks.

Jackson may miss multiple weeks with a knee injury, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson hasn't been ruled out for Week 8 yet, but this report certainly doesn't seem promising. The 32-year-old caught just one pass in 36 snaps during Week 7's contest against the Redskins -- a surprising total considering the Bucs were without Russell Shepard (hamstring) and lost Louis Murphy (knee) in the middle of the game. If Jackson is unable to play, Mike Evans could see an increase in targets due to the sheer fact that three of the top five receivers on the Tampa Bay depth chart are all dealing with injuries. For that same reason, Donteea Dye might also warrant a speculative add considering he saw 48 snaps against the Redskins in which he caught one pass for a touchdown.

Jackson (knee) totaled 36 snaps in the Week 7 loss to the Redskins before exiting the game in the third quarter with his injury.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was receiving his usual amount of run before getting hurt, but had turned in a surprisingly unproductive effort against the mediocre Redskins secondary. The veteran receiver posted his second consecutive one-catch effort after his breakout 10-catch, 147-yard effort in Week 4 versus the Panthers. Jackson's status for the Week 8 tilt against the Falcons remains up in the air at this point, but should become clearer as the week progresses. Despite his recent struggles on the stat sheet, Jackson should receive some additional looks upon his return with third receiver Louis Murphy (knee) out for the season.

Jackson (knee) believes he will be fine, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was injured during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Redskins, with the Bucs initially considering him questionable to return. He never made it back in the game, finishing with just one catch for 13 yards on two targets. It sounds as if Jackson expects to play in Week 8 against the Falcons, but he's taken a clear backseat to Mike Evans the past two games.
