Travis Benjamin, Antonio Gates Questionable rotoballer.com Fri 9/21/18 3:43 PM

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin (foot) and tight end Antonio Gates (illness) are both questionable for Week 3 against the Rams. Benjamin didn't play last week and caught just one of his five targets in Week 1. He's a boom-or-bust deep threat with a bad matchup if he plays. Stay away from him. Gates played just 11 snaps in [...]

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin (foot) and tight end Antonio Gates (illness) both missed practice on Thursday. Benjamin was limited on Wednesday, so this is surely bad news for his chances of returning in [...]

Travis Benjamin Limited Wednesday rotoballer.com Wed 9/19/18 6:58 PM

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin (foot) was limited in practice on Wednesday. Benjamin sat out in the Week 2 win over the Bills, but it looks like he'll have a shot to return in a tough matchup against the Rams on Sunday. Benjamin had some bad drops in the season opener and remains a boom-or-bust deep threat that is much too risky to use in starting lineups in most leagues.

Travis Benjamin Not Playing Against Bills rotoballer.com Sun 9/16/18 1:08 PM

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin (foot) is inactive in Week 2 against the Bills. Benjamin was a game-time decision for this one, but he won't suit up. His absence is good news for Tyrell Williams and Mike Williams in a great matchup against a Buffalo defense that got smoked by the Ravens in Week 1.

Travis Benjamin Unlikely To Play rotoballer.com Fri 9/14/18 2:32 PM

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin (foot) did not practice on Friday and is unlikely to play in Week 2 against the Bills. Benjamin missed the entire week of practice and is doubtful to play at this point. He dropped several passes that would have been big plays in Week 1 and remains an all-or-nothing fantasy commodity as a deep threat. His absence this weekend would be good news for Keenan Allen, Tyrell Williams and Mike [...]

Week 2 Rankings Analysis - Nick Mariano vs. ECR rotoballer.com Fri 9/14/18 12:05 PM

Welcome, one and all, to the weekly piece that puts my rankings under the microscope and gives me a chance to explain myself against the Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) found on FantasyPros. I did decently in Week 1, scoring 29th out of ~130 experts, but if I'm going to beat my 9th place finish from '17 then I've got work to do! I'll be examining my own ranks against the ECR on a position-by-position basis, as the overall and flex tabs can simply get insane with every position folded in with [...]

Travis Benjamin Out Again rotoballer.com Thu 9/13/18 6:35 PM

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin (foot) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Benjamin is trending in the wrong direction heading into Week 2 against the Bills. The deep threat had just one catch on five targets for one yard in the Week 1 loss to the Chiefs. He's a boom/bust fantasy option, and he mostly is a bust. If he's out this weekend, Mike Williams would be a safer touchdown-dependent WR4/flex.
