According to the New York Post, Stephen Hill (concussion) is not expected to play in Monday's game against the Falcons. Unless Hill sustained a severe concussion against the Titans, it seems awful early to completely rule him out. The Jets are on a long week as they travel to Atlanta Monday night. We'll know more on Hill as the week moves along, but it does look like Geno Smith will be without both of his starting wideouts. Jeremy Kerley and Kellen Winslow project as go-to guys.

Stephen Hill exited Sunday's Week 4 game against the Titans with a head injury. Hill was hurt on the second play of the game. Geno Smith targeted him on his first pass, but the ball was behind him and picked off. Michael Griffin then came over and popped Hill as Alterraun Verner was running the interception back.

Stephen Hill caught three balls for 108 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Bills, seeing six targets. Hill's 51-yard touchdown in the second quarter was the first by a Jets wideout since last November 18. Hill has serious big-play ability, and has strung together back-to-back 80-plus-yard games. With bye weeks beginning in Week 4, Hill is now on the fill-in WR3 radar. The Jets play the Titans next.

Stephen Hill drew a team-high eight targets in New York's Week 2 loss to the Patriots, catching four passes for 86 yards. Hill made a big-time 37-yard catch early in the fourth quarter, but nullified it later with a big drop. Hill did a decent job of getting open downfield, but typically comes up one act short of "making a play," so to speak. He remains a raw football player more than a year after coming out of run-focused Georgia Tech. There are worse bench stashes in 12-14 team leagues, but Hill is not somebody you want to be relying on weekly.

Stephen Hill caught six passes for 39 yards in the Jets' Week 1 win over the Buccaneers. He was targeted a team-high nine times. While it's promising Hill was utilized so heavily, he's still a receiver that needs to hit deep strikes to pay off as a fantasy play. Consider Hill a WR5 entering Week 2 against New England.

Stephen Hill had four receptions for 54 yards in Saturday night's preseason game against the Giants. Hill caught all four of his targets, but fumbled and was called for a personal foul in the second-half. While the Jets are counting on him to make a significant jump in his second season, Hill continues to make too many mistakes to be trusted as anything more than a late-round flier. He left Saturday's game with a wrist injury, but is considered day to day after an MRI ruled out structural damage.

Stephen Hill believes he's talented enough to be the Jets' No. 1 receiver. "Honestly I feel like I can be that guy even if (Santonio Holmes) is out there on the field," Hill said Wednesday. "That's just my competitiveness, that's what I feel like I can do." Hill received poor marks for his play in OTAs, but has rebounded in a big way in training camp, even drawing public praise from coach Rex Ryan. New York's receiver corps is an absolute mess, but Hill is not a bad flier as a WR5.

According to ESPN New York, second-year WR Stephen Hill is "having a nice camp" after a drop-filled spring. The Jets desperately need Hill to emerge as a sophomore, so this will be significant if he carries it over into regular season games. During Sunday's practice, Hill caught a 50-yard touchdown bomb from Geno Smith. Ideally, speedsters Hill and Braylon Edwards will threaten to stretch defenses deep, giving the Jets some room to run up front. Otherwise, they'll face constant eight-man boxes.
