One of the ideas that's been in the minds of impressionable fantasy owners for who-knows-how-long is that running backs have a breaking point after a certain amount of carries. It's a tiring argument that stems from some very high profile cases including Terrell Davis, Clinton Portis, and Shaun Alexander, who all managed to hit the big 350+ and then fall off the earth the following year. Editor’s Note: If you’re looking for a new, awesome, highly customizable and free option for year-ro[...]Keep on reading: Running Backs with 350+ Carries, the Myth Surrounding Them, and the Lies.

With theexception of Nate Washington, Whitehurst seemed to have a nice rapport with theTitans' wideouts and tight ends. Rookie Review - Week 13 fantasysharks.com Wed 11/26/14 9:06 AM

Theplay of your lifetime from a rookie and other great performances. Please take alook. Quarterbacks Derek Carr, Oakland -- Maybe, just maybe, wehave another bright spot that Carr can work with for the improvement of theOakland Raiders. Latavius Murray had been injured for much of his first twoyears, but was given a chance because of the ineffective play of MauriceJones-Drew and Darren McFadden. Murray had 112 yards and two touchdowns on fourcarries. He did have to leave the game because of a concussion, but that helpedopen up the offense. Carr ended up leading the Raiders to their first winagainst a good Kansas City defense. Carr ended the day with a line of 18-of-35for 174 yards line with one touchdown and a sack. I do have to say that Carrgot lucky because Kansas City had many interception possibilities, but did notconvert. Blake Bortles, Jacksonville-- Itis really hard to fault any quarterback for Jacksonville over the past five years,as they have not had much help. Once again, the lack of help on the offensiveline and at the skill positions limited the play of Bortles. He is, however, showing improvement in limiting his interceptions, only throwing one a gameover the last three compared to two per in every previous game. You can't blamehim, he has no protection and very little else to work with. His receiversalways get hurt and thus cannot get proper timing with the quarterback. Bortlesended up 15-of-27 for 146 yards with one interception and four sacks. Healso added 24 yards rushing. The Jacksonville Jaguars need to severely upgradethe offensive line to properly gauge Bortles and his talent. Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota- Itfinally happened! Bridgewater had his first game with two touchdowns, and ithappened against the hated Green Bay Packers. To be honest, I expected muchworse results than what actually happened. Bridgewater actually showed somepoise even though he was under great duress. Once again, the offensive line waslike a leaky faucet and provided little protection. Bridgewater ended up going 21-of-37 for 210 yards with twotouchdowns and one interception with two sacks. He added 32 rushing yards, showinghis mobility. The Minnesota Vikings should actually feel good that he kept thegame close throughout. Zach Mettenberger, Tennessee -- If you are a TennesseeTitans fan, you have to love the gunslinging style of Mettenberger. They havethe talent at wide receiver and tight end to put points on the board. Mettenbergerhad a nice day on ...
