Marks (knee) is listed as doubtful to play Sunday against the Patriots, John Oehser of Jaguars.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It looks like Marks will sit out for the third straight week as he continues to recover from a torn ACL suffered in Week 17 of last season. He's progressing rather quickly, however, and the Jaguars are expecting a return within the next few weeks. Marks led the team with 8.5 sacks in 2014.

Marks (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with Miami, Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marks continues to work his way back from offseason surgery to repair a torn ACL, and he'll sit out a second straight week to begin the season. Considering the surgery took place in January, Marks appears to be ahead of schedule in his rehab, and the fact that he's on the active roster, rather than short-term IR or the PUP list, is an indication that the Jags expect to have him back within the next few weeks.

Marks (knee) was removed from the PUP list and placed on the active roster Saturday, Jaguars.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marks underwent reconstructive knee surgery in January after tearing his ACL and spent most of the offseason rehabilitating. It's unclear when he'll be ready to return to game action, but the decision to remove him from the PUP list is an indication that Jacksonville believes Marks, who led the team in sack in 2014, could return within the first half of the season.

Marks has a torn ACL, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports. Marks finished the 2014 season with a total of 44 combined tackles, and a career-best 8.5 sacks. The injury will greatly limit his ability to participate in offseason workouts, and makes his status for the start of 2015 a bit cloudy.

The Jaguars want to reduce DT Sen'Derrick Marks' snaps in an effort to keep him fresh. Marks played 83 percent of the defensive snaps in 2013 and had an outstanding season that netted him a four-year, $22 million extension. He started all 16 games for the first time in his career and registered 34 tackles and career-highs in sacks (4), pass breakups (8), and forced fumbles (2). As the three-technique, he concentrates on penetrating gaps and getting to the quarterback for the Jags.
