Turbin is likely facing a suspension from the league after recently testing positive for a banned substance, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turbin regularly worked with the first-team offense this spring and was thought to be entering training camp in line for the short-yardage role in the Colts backfield. With the team now unlikely to be without his services for multiple games, it wouldn't be a surprise if fifth-round rookie Jordan Wilkins (6-foot-1, 217 pounds) is given extended run in training camp. However, Marlon Mack (shoulder) and fourth-round rookie Nyheim Hines are also around to potentially take over Turbin's responsibilities.

Turbin will be joined in the Indianapolis backfield by fourth-round selection Nyheim Hines and fifth-round pick Jordan Wilkins, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 Indy reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is actually a decent outcome for Turbin, with the addition of two running backs negated by the position where they were drafted. The Colts somewhat surprisingly decided to pass on the high-end options in a strong running back class, displaying at least some degree of confidence in Marlon Mack and Turbin. While Mack figures to enter training camp as the favorite for the lead job, Turbin has a shot to earn a role as a short-yardage runner and special teams contributor, with his solid reputation as a blocker potentially also giving him a chance at some playing time on passing downs. However, he could land on the wrong side of the roster bubble if Hines and Wilkins both appear ready to contribute from the get-go.

Turbin, who was placed on injured reserve Oct. 20, said he's fully recovered from a dislocated left elbow, Zak Keefer of The Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turbin looks like he'll be in store for a normal offseason, but despite his good health, he won't be able to play in any of the Colts' final four games or practices during that stretch after the team already exhausted both of its designated-to-return-from-IR spots. The running back will enter the second year of his two-year contract with the Colts in 2018.

The Colts formally placed Turbin (elbow) on injured reserve Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Turbin suffered a dislocated elbow in Monday's loss to the Titans, with Colts head coach Chuck Pagano relaying a day later that the running back would be shut down for the remainder of the season. The 28-year-old's move to IR confirms as much, leaving the Colts with an opening in the backfield for more passing-down work. Josh Ferguson, who was promoted from the practice squad in a corresponding transaction, could be tasked with handling a good chunk of the snaps that would have been designated for a healthy Turbin.

Turbin (dislocated elbow) is expected to be placed on IR by the Colts, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Turbin out of the mix, look for Marlon Mack to see added touches while working in tandem with veteran starter Frank Gore. Meanwhile, Matt Jones is candidate to move from the inactive list to a reserve role, beginning Sunday against the Jaguars.

According to head coach Chuck Pagano, Turbin (arm) is expected to miss the remainder of the season, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turbin suffered a brutal arm injury in Monday night's loss to the Titans and while the specifics of the injury have yet to be announced, it is clear that the 27-year-old will miss significant time. The Colts have relied on Frank Gore and Marlon Mack in the backfield for the most part this season, but they may now work Matt Jones and Christine Michael into the fold given Turbin's absence.

Turbin sustained a left arm injury late in the fourth quarter of Monday night's game against the Titans and did not return, Mike Chappell of of CBS 4 News Indianapolis reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turbin's left arm was twisted underneath him as he was tackled lunging for a first down in what looked to be an ugly injury. No official announcement has been made at this point, but the 27-year-old went straight to the locker room and did not return Monday. The injury occurred within the final three minutes of the game so specifics may not be available on the injury until Tuesday, but the Colts will provide updates as information is available.

Turbin had four carries for six yards and two receptions for 13 yards in Sunday's win over the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Turbin played more snaps on offense than Marlon Mack (21 to 17), but Mack had nine carries for 91 yards rushing. Turbin may keep a goal-line role, but it looks like Mack would become the primary ball carrier if Frank Gore were to get hurt.

Turbin had six carries for eight yards, including a one-yard touchdown, in Sunday's loss at Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Turbin played 19 snaps on offense and was the primary backup to Frank Gore with Marlon Mack out with a shoulder injury. Turbin scored his first touchdown of the season after frequently being bypassed for the goal-line role in the first three games. His value will be limited to a goal-line carries, which may be rare until Andrew Luck returns at quarterback.

Turbin had five carries for 18 yards and one reception for two yards in Sunday's win over Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Turbin played fewer snaps on offense than last week (28) despite Marlon Mack being sidelined with a shoulder injury. Turbin did have a goal-line carry but failed to score a touchdown. He doesn't appear to have a significant role in the offense and Frank Gore is getting goal-line carries as well, limiting Turbin's fantasy value.
