Gould went 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts (36, 42, 45) while connecting on all three point-after tries in Sunday's 30-27 win over Detroit.

EDGE Analysis

Gould's second field goal was his 28th consecutive successful attempt, setting a new club record for the 49ers. The veteran leg is now a perfect 6-for-6 this season, proving to be one of the more-accurate kickers in the league.

Gould converted all three field-goal attempts (22, 33, 42) and added a PAT in Sunday's 24-16 loss to Minnesota.

EDGE Analysis

Gould carrying over his success from last season (39-for-41 on field-goal attempts) with a perfect start to the 2018 campaign. The 49ers' offense moved the ball relatively well between the 20s against a stout Vikings' D, but sputtered in the redzone. If this trend continues, Gould could be in for a strong fantasy season from a volume standpoint.

Gould was a perfect 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts in Saturday's preseason loss to the Colts.

EDGE Analysis

Gould looked to be in mid-season form for the 49ers' "dress rehearsal" Saturday. The 35-year-old looked rejuvenated after joining San Francisco last season, going 39-for-41 (95 percent) on field goal attempts, including a perfect 4-for-4 from over 50 yards. Gould should be a serviceable fantasy kicking option with the offense expected to take a step forward under Jimmy Garoppolo this year.

Gould said the 49ers' locker room is "probably the best" he's ever been a part of in the NFL, Eric Branch of The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

EDGE Analysis

Entering the second season of a two-year, $4 million contract, the 35-year-old kicker likely would be amenable to signing an extension. He had the best season of a solid career in 2017, converting 39 of 41 field-goal attempts for a San Francisco team that ranked 12th in yards and only 27th in red-zone touchdown percentage (47.1). Gould likely will trade some of those field goals for PATs this upcoming season, but he'll still be a strong fantasy option if Jimmy Garoppolo can carry his late-season success into 2018.

Gould converted both of his field-goal attempts (33, 48) and all four PATs in Sunday's 34-13 win over the Rams.

EDGE Analysis

Gould finishes the season 39-for-41 on field-goal tries, a conversion rate (95 percent) that was only bested by Graham Gano of the Panthers on 11 fewer attempts. In fact, one of his two misses was a block, so the veteran was even slightly better than his final totals indicate. Maybe the 34-year-old was out to prove the Chicago Bears -- who struggled kicking the ball this year -- wrong for letting him go, as his 49-for-51 mark over the past two years is near the tops amongst all NFL kickers. Whatever the case, Gould looks as good as ever, and should benefit from what appears to be an upward-trending offense in San Francisco next season.

Gould made a 27-yard field goal but missed one of his six extra-point tries in Sunday's 44-33 win over the Jaguars.

EDGE Analysis

Gould's missed extra point was just the fourth time he's misfired on 65 total attempts this season. The reliable veteran has tallied 56 points over the past four games, moving him into fourth league-wide in scoring.

Gould was perfect on all six of his field-goal attempts Sunday, adding an extra point in a 25-23 win over the Titans.

EDGE Analysis

Jimmy Garoppolo has not only improved the 49ers' receiving options, but his presence has made Gould one of the best fantasy kickers with 15 field goals made over the past three weeks. The 35-year-old has been as accurate as ever, missing just one field goal (the other was blocked) and going a perfect 4-for-4 from 50-plus yards. San Francisco's offense will face one of their stiffest tests against the Jaguars' vaunted defense next week, so it would be realistic to assume a reduced number of scoring opportunities for the red-hot placekicker.

Gould made field goals from 52, 35, 25 and 41 yards in Sunday's 26-16 win over the Texans, when he also made both his extra-point tries.

EDGE Analysis

Gould has now notched 29 points in two games since Jimmy Garoppolo took over as San Francisco's starting quarterback. While it remains to be seen whether his production increase continues, that's the best two-week stretch Gould has put together this season.

Gould went 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts Sunday, accounting for all 15 of the 49ers' points in a win over the Bears.

EDGE Analysis

Revenge games for kickers probably don't move the fantasy needle much, but Gould had about as successful of a return to his former stomping grounds as we've seen in recent history. The 34-year-old stuck it to the club that kicked him to the curb after an 11-year run in Chicago. This was actually the second time this season that the veteran kicker has nailed five field goals in a single game. While a repeat performance seems unlikely, Gould's excellent accuracy combined with the marked improvement of the offense under Jimmy Garoppolo makes him a strong play in an indoor arena next Sunday against the Texans.

Gould was good from 38 and 42 yards out on his two field-goal attempts Sunday, adding an extra point in a 24-13 loss to Seattle.

EDGE Analysis

This marked the first time since Week 5 that Gould converted multiple field goals in the same contest. The 34-year-old owns a 91 percent conversion rate on field-goal attempts this year, so his lack of multiple-score games is a testament to the 49ers' inability to move the ball on offense rather than an indictment on the veteran's skills. There are rumblings that Jimmy Garoppolo could take over the offense as soon as next week after getting a successful -- albeit brief -- taste of action Sunday. The 49ers and fantasy owners alike are hoping an impending change at QB will spark the stagnant offense, which would in turn give Gould a bump in value whenever that switch is officially made.
