Anderson is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Falcons with a back injury.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson caught his lone target for 13 yards before exiting Sunday's contest. While the nature and severity of this back issue are still unclear, the 29-year-old was seen heading to the locker room before the end of the first half, according to Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site. With No. 1 wideout DeAndre Hopkins (knee) already inactive, Arizona will likely rely on Marquise Brown, Greg Dortch and A.J. Green to buoy the team's passing attack for the time being.

Anderson gathered in all four targets for 50 yards during Monday's 27-13 defeat to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Since Carolina dealt him to Arizona in October, Anderson has been an afterthought in the Cardinals offense, combining for two catches (on 10 targets) for 13 yards and no touchdowns in his first six appearances with the team. His uptick in production Monday may stem from familiarity at practice with backup quarterback Colt McCoy, who replaced Kyler Murray (knee) after the third offensive snap of the game. If Murray's injury ends up being season-ending, Anderson could be a factor operating with McCoy for the last four contests of the campaign.

Anderson caught one of three targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
For the first time in his six-game Cardinals tenure, Anderson earned more than 40 percent of the snaps in back-to-back outings. He also recorded the first catch with his new club that netted a positive gain. With Marquise Brown returning to the lineup Sunday following a five-game absence, he and DeAndre Hopkins (14 combined targets) will dominate the looks from quarterback Kyler Murray moving forward, leaving Anderson to fend for scraps after the team's Week 13 bye.

Anderson wasn't targeted while playing 33 of 71 offensive snaps during Monday's 38-10 defeat to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has been active for all five games since the Cardinals acquired him from the Panthers before Week 7, but he has just one catch for minus-4 yards on seven targets. His 46 percent snap share Monday was his second-most with his current squad, but despite injuries throughout the receiving corps, he has yet to make much of a mark. If Marquise Brown (foot) is able to return from IR for Sunday's contest versus the Chargers, there's a chance Anderson is a healthy scratch in Week 12.

Anderson played just eight of 68 offensive snaps during Sunday's 27-17 win at the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
A Week 9 game in which he earned 82 percent of the offensive snaps aside, Anderson has ranged between 10 and 18 percent in his other three appearances (12 percent Sunday) with the Cardinals since his trade from Carolina. In those four contests, he's gathered in just one of seven targets for minus-4 yards on his new squad. With the team's top tight end Zach Ertz (knee) out indefinitely, Anderson could begin to mix in more consistently behind DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore, but rookie second-round TE Trey McBride may be the best bet to step into the No. 3 spot in the passing game as long as Marquise Brown (foot) is sidelined.

Anderson reeled in one of three targets for minus-4 yards during Sunday's 31-21 loss to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Since landing in Arizona on Oct. 17, Anderson didn't surpass an 18 percent share of the offensive snaps and was held without a catch on four targets in his first two appearances with the team. He experienced a huge increase in usage to 83 percent of those plays Sunday, but he was rarely looked at by quarterback Kyler Murray, with Rondale Moore (10), Zach Ertz (eight), DeAndre Hopkins (five) and James Conner (five) all surpassing Anderson in targets. If the Cardinals continue to make a concerted effort to involve Anderson, he eventually may be a threat in the offense, but for the time being he appears to be struggling to get on the same page with Murray.

Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Wednesday that he's hopeful Anderson will have a bigger role Sunday against the Seahawks, Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since arriving in Arizona from Carolina on Oct. 17, Anderson has played in both of the Cardinals' two games in the meantime, but his usage (19 offensive snaps) and target count (four) have yet to yield any production. Kingsbury specifically said the team will attempt to "force feed" him this weekend, but with wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore and tight end Zach Ertz taking on a huge portion of the available targets, Anderson still is waiting for his first catch with his new squad.

Anderson was targeted three times but didn't record a catch during Sunday's 34-26 defeat at Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Among the Cardinals' five available wide receivers Week 8, Anderson finished behind the others in terms of offensive snap count (seven of 78), namely DeAndre Hopkins (78), Rondale Moore (77), A.J. Green (37) and Greg Dortch (20). With two games in Arizona under his belt, Anderson still doesn't have a reception on his four targets, and without an injury or role change to one of the players in front of him, he currently doesn't have a clear path to regular work.

Anderson went without a catch on one target and played 12 of 66 offensive snaps during Thursday's 42-34 victory against the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
It marked Anderson's second matchup with the Saints this season, but it was the former Panther's first in a Cardinals uniform following his trade to the desert earlier in the week. With Marquise Brown (foot) and Antoine Wesley (hip) on injured reserve, Anderson mixed into the receiving corps behind DeAndre Hopkins (61 plays), Rondale Moore (59) and Greg Dortch (35) and ahead of A.J. Green (DNP). As he grows more accustomed to the playbook, Anderson may be able to usurp Dortch in the pecking order, but until he does his output may be sporadic or even nonexistent.

Anderson may play "more than you'd expect" in his Cardinals debut Thursday against the Saints, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Following his trade from Carolina to Arizona on Monday, Anderson has had only two days to get up to speed with the Cardinals' playbook. While he initially was expected to get "15-to-20 snaps," per Rapoport, Anderson has acclimated quickly in his new home and could play a decent role Week 7. Anderson is helped by the fact that Marquise Brown (foot) is on injured reserve, but in any case the former will be a part of the team's options at wide receiver Thursday along with DeAndre Hopkins, Rondale Moore, A.J. Green and Greg Dortch.
