Blankenship recorded seven tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 23-14 win over the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Blankenship has now been able to register at least seven tackles in each of the four games he's been active this season. The safety is now up to 34 tackles, six pass deflections and an interception on the 2023 campaign.

Blankenship logged eight tackles (four solo) and two passes defended in Sunday's 34-31 overtime win against Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Blankenship had a solid outing versus the Commanders and helped lead Philadelphia to an overtime victory. The 24-year-old has now recorded 15 tackles since returning from a ribs injury that kept him out of the team's Week 2 win over the Vikings and will look to build off of his strong performance this week against the Rams.

Blankenship played all 47 defensive snaps and recorded seven tackles and an interception in the Eagles' 25-11 win over the Buccaneers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The safety was part of a dominant defensive effort in which Philadelphia held Tampa Bay to 174 total yards and 41 rushing yards. Blankenship missed Week 2 with a rib injury but was also active in Week 1, finishing with 12 tackles and two passes defended.

Blankenship (ribs) was a full participant at practice Friday.
EDGE Analysis
After missing Week 2 with an injury to his ribs, Blankenship has been able to recover quickly enough to suit up in Week 3. He'll resume a starting role at safety Monday at the Buccaneers.

Blankenship (ribs) was limited in Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Taking over as a full-time starter this season, Blankenship played 98 percent of the snaps in the Week 1 opener and registered 12 tackles and two passes defensed before missing last Thursday night's game against the Vikings. The limited session puts him on track to play Monday night versus Tampa Bay.

Blankenship (ribs) was ruled out for Thursday's game versus the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
It's a big blow to Philadelphia's defense considering Blankenship led the team in tackles (12) in Week 1. The Eagles will eagerly await his return, and in the meantime, 28-year-old Justin Evans should see more opportunities to play at safety.

Blankenship (ribs) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate ahead of Thursday's game versus Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Blankenship recorded 12 tackles over 76 snaps in Week 1 and didn't miss extended time, so it would be surprising not to see him suit up for Week 2. Stranger things have happened though, and Tuesday's injury report should provide clarity regarding his availability.

Blankenship recorded 12 tackles (nine solo) and two passes defended in a 25-20 win over the Patriots on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Blankenship has officially taken over at free safety this season with the departure of C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Lions and helped prove why he earned that role Sunday. The 12 tackles were a career high for the Middle Tennessee product, who made the team as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He'll work to keep up the production Thursday against the Vikings.

Blankenship appeared in 10 regular-season contests in 2022 and posted 34 tackles, two pass defenses and one interception across 284 defensive snaps.
EDGE Analysis
The undrafted rookie out of Middle Tennessee signed a three-year, $2.57 million contract with the Eagles following the 2022 Draft. He wasn't part of the active roster to start the year, but he eventually carved out a special-teams role and ultimately became a major part of the Eagles' secondary when C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Avonte Maddox were dealing with injuries. Most of Blankenship's regular-season production came during the final six games and started with an interception against Aaron Rodgers during his first extended playing time in Week 12. He also garnered a major defensive role during the divisional round and NFC Championship Game, totaling 11 tackles and one pass defense during those contests, but he didn't make an impact in the Super Bowl with Johnson and Maddox both available. Maddox is under contract for two more years, but Johnson is set to be a free agent, so Blankenship may have a clear path to a starting role if Johnson opts to sign elsewhere.

Blankenship recorded eight tackles (four solo) in Saturday's 40-34 loss to the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
With fellow safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson (abdomen) unavailable yet again this past weekend, Blankenship was able to log career highs in both snaps played (69) and stops (eight) Saturday in Dallas. However, now that Gardner-Johnson has been sidelined on injured reserve for each of Philadelphia's last four matchups, he'll be eligible to suit up versus New Orleans on New Year's Day following an elevation to the team's active roster, which would ultimately result in a possible deduction in usage for Blankenship.
