Diggs (hand) suffered a hand fracture during Sunday's loss to the Cowboys, Dave Brikett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Diggs exited during the third quarter of the Week 4 contest and did not return. It remains unclear how long Diggs will remain sidelined, or whether he'll be able to play with a cast on his hand against the Packers on Sunday. Rookie safety Tracy Walker could see an expanded defensive role if Diggs misses any time.

Diggs is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Cowboys due to a hand injury, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Diggs exited during the second half of Sunday's contest. With Tavon Wilson (back) also questionable to return, Detroit could remain without either strong safety for the remainder of the Week 4 tilt. Look for an update on Digg's health if he is unable to return to the field.

Diggs signed a three-year, $20.4 million contract extension with the Lions, Michael Rothstein of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Diggs, who was entering the last year of his rookie contract, has evolved from an inconsistent slot cornerback to one of the most versatile defensive players on the Lions roster. Potentially on the verge of a breakout IDP season, Diggs isn't being pigeonholed to just one position and should see significant playing time at both safety and cornerback in 2018.

Diggs recorded 55 tackles, one sack, nine PBUs, three interceptions and one forced fumble across 16 games in 2017.
EDGE Analysis
Diggs started the season as a slot cornerback but was moved to strong safety after Tavon Wilson (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve in late November. He performed very well in his new role, recording 22 tackles, his first career sack, one forced fumble and all three of his interceptions in five starts. With Wilson set to be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the league year, Diggs seems poised to enter the 2018 campaign as a starter alongside Glover Quin.

Diggs had five tackles (three solo) and an interception in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Diggs continued his strong play since switching to safety in early December and now has an interception in three consecutive games. The 26-year-old should have solid IDP appeal in Week 17 as the Lions face the Packers turnover-prone quarterback Brett Hundley.

Diggs recorded three tackles, two pass defensed, one sack and an interception in Saturday's win over the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Diggs has made a seamless transition to safety over the past couple weeks, as he now has an interception in each game since the move. He played in all 69 of the Lions' defensive snaps -- just one of three players to do so Saturday night.

Diggs recorded seven tackles, one interception and one forced fumbled during Sunday's 24-21 victory over Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Making his second consecutive start at strong safety, Diggs -- who's transitioning from nickel corner -- appeared more comfortable than he was last week. It wasn't a perfect outing, as Diggs was seemingly responsible for allowing a handful of Tampa Bay first downs through the air, but the Lions have to be encouraged by his progress thus far. Next up is a matchup with a Bears team that's averaged the 10th most rushing attempts per game in 2017, which could require Diggs to be even more active as a tackler.

Diggs, who has been used as a nickel cornerback since entering the NFL in 2015, will play safety for the rest of the season, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Tavon Wilson (shoulder) hitting injured reserve prior to the Lions' Week 13 loss to the Ravens, Diggs stepped into a starting role at strong safety alongside Glover Quin. The Lions were apparently pleased with Diggs' performance during the outing and appear set to give him the opportunity to fill in for Wilson the rest of the way. The move should translate to more tackle opportunities for Wilson, thus increasing his appeal in IDP settings.

Diggs is working as the first-string nickel corner in training camp, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Diggs admitted himself that he's in a "heated" training camp battle for time at corner given the Lions' recent additions of rookies Teez Tabor and Jamal Agnew as well as former Raiders CB D.J. Hayden, so he'll need to stay healthy and keep performing in order to maintain his standing atop the depth chart. His play slipped last season after a promising 2015 campaign, but Diggs seems to have had a good offseason and even made the "play of the day" during Wednesday's practice, tipping and then intercepting a Matthew Stafford pass in the end zone intended for Golden Tate.

Diggs (pectoral) is still working his way back to 100-percent health, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Diggs' underwhelming 2016 campaign came to an ugly close when the 2015 sixth-rounder landed on injured reserve with a pectoral injury last December. Although he'll apparently need a little bit more time to get back into top shape, Diggs has still been a full participant in OTAs while working with the first-team defense. Don't be surprised if 2017 second-rounder Teez Tabor replaces him in the starting lineup at some point between now and the season opener, though.
