The Arizona Cardinals placed kicker Phil Dawson (hip) on Injured Reserve on Monday and elevated kicker Zane Gonzalez from the practice squad in a corresponding move. Dawson made just five of eight field-goal tries on the season but was perfect on 15 extra points. He was never a fantasy factor in one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Gonzalez should be avoided by fantasy owners the rest of the way.

Arizona Cardinals kicker Phil Dawson (hip) was limited in practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. The limited practice means he should be able to play in Week 11 against the Raiders. The 43-year-old isn't a fantasy option, even in a good matchup, though. Dawson has made just four of six field-goal tries on the year and is perfect on his 14 extra points. Arizona's offense just doesn't move the ball consistently enough for Dawson to be in play in fantasy.
