Taylor rushed five times for 16 yards and caught his lone target for 12 receiving yards in Thursday's 36-24 win over Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Starter Jordan Mason (shoulder) missed chunks of Thursday's victory over the Seahawks due to injury, opening the door for Isaac Guerendo (10-99-0) and Taylor to split snaps in the interim. The 49ers' fourth-round rookie had the standout performance in the starter's absence, while Taylor produced just 3.2 yards per tote in his first action on offense this year. The 26-year-old Taylor could maintain a small role in San Francisco's Week 7 gameplan if Mason is forced to sit against Kansas City due to the AC joint injury he sustained in Thursday's win.

Taylor logged one snap on special teams in Monday's 32-19 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
The backup running back was barely used in a contest that did not feature starter Christian McCaffrey (calf/Achilles). Taylor currently sits behind Jordan Mason (58 snaps) and Isaac Guerendo (13 snaps) in terms of pecking order behind McCaffrey on the 49ers' depth chart.

Taylor and the 49ers agreed to terms on a one-year contract Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor spent the last four seasons in Green Bay, suiting up for 34 regular-season games from 2021 through 2023. During that time, he largely contributed on special teams before taking on an increased depth role on offense in 2023, when he rushed a career-high 32 times for 141 yards in 11 appearances. Heading into his first training camp with San Francisco, Taylor will compete for a depth role behind Christian McCaffrey and Elijah Mitchell.

RB SF (14)
Taylor had 32 carries for 141 yards and 11 receptions for 49 yards over 11 regular-season games in 2023.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor easily had his most productive campaign as a professional, as he set career highs nearly across the board and ran for a respectable 4.4 YPC. He's been a trusted back for the Packers since 2021, but he spent the early portion of the season on the practice squad and was even waived before being brought back in late November. There's a chance he could return to Green Bay for a fourth go-around, but he ended the season fourth on the depth chart, so it would not be surprising if the Packers opt to go in a different direction.

Wilson had three carries for six yards in Sunday's 48-32 victory over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Backfield mate AJ Dillon (thumb/neck) did not suit up Sunday, but it was Emanuel Wilson rather than Taylor who worked as the backup behind starter Aaron Jones. It looks like Wilson will be next in line for touches if Dillon misses another game, but Green Bay could turn to Taylor more frequently against the 49ers, as he has earned more trust than his counterpart in pass protection.

Taylor had eight carries for 30 yards in Sunday's 33-10 victory over the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
The 30 yards tied a season high for Taylor, who finished second among Packers running backs in snaps, yardage and carries. All of his totes came in the fourth quarter, though, after fellow running back AJ Dillon left with a stinger and the game had essentially been decided. Taylor remains third on the backfield depth chart, but he could see an elevated workload again behind Aaron Jones if Dillon is unable to play in Week 18 against the Bears.

Taylor had three carries for four yards and one reception for minus-1 yard in Sunday's 33-30 victory over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor tallied multiple touches for the fourth time in five games, but with both Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon suiting up in the same game for the first time since Week 11, he was relegated to the third spot on the depth chart. If both of his fellow running backs are able to go again in Week 17, expect Taylor to wind up in a similar role.

Taylor had one carry for six yards and two receptions for minus-4 yards in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
With AJ Dillon (thumb) sidelined, Taylor worked as the backup behind Aaron Jones, and he played 26 snaps compared to the 29 that Jones received. However, Taylor only tallied three touches while Jones finished with 17. The Packers used a similar distribution in recent weeks when Jones was sidelined and Dillon wasn't, so there is little reason to expect much from Taylor -- he has not recorded more than six touches in a game this season -- unless both of his fellow running backs are unavailable.

Taylor rushed four times for 30 yards and brought in both targets for 22 yards in the Packers' 24-22 loss to the Giants on Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
The reserve back once again served as the No. 2 option in the Packers backfield with Aaron Jones (knee) sidelined, and Taylor continued to impress with limited touches. Taylor generated a bulk of his production on two plays, recording a 14-yard run and a 16-yard catch. The third-year back could once again serve as AJ Dillon's backup in Week 15 versus the Buccaneers depending on Jones' status, and with Dillon struggling with efficiency on a near every-week basis, Taylor could potentially earn more opportunity against Tampa Bay.

Taylor had two carries for 29 yards in Sunday's 27-19 victory over the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor worked as the backup running back for a second straight week with Aaron Jones (knee) out again, but the Packers opted to lean on AJ Dillon, who outsnapped Taylor two to one and recorded 19 touches to Taylor's two. It's not yet known if Jones will return for Week 14, but even if he remains sidelined, it's unlikely Taylor's role will change much.
