Robey-Coleman lost his main nickel role to rookie Kevon Seymour in practice last week, and only played 15 defensive snaps in Sunday's win at Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
The Bills had trouble in the secondary leading up to the big Week 11 win, so they turned to Kevon Seymour -- who offers more size -- for a bigger role. (Seymour ended up with 40 snaps.) Since the secondary ended up having one of its best games of the season, this situation may continue. Robey-Coleman did end up with three tackles and one pass defensed in that limited action.

Robey-Coleman picked off his first two passes of the season during Sunday's win over the Rams. He returned one to the house, his second TD of the season following a scoop-and-score during the Week 2 loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
This was quite the return to home for the USC product, and Robey-Coleman certainly didn't let down any friends and family in attendance. That all said, Robey-Coleman isn't a starter and has played a modest 53.9 percent of the defensive snaps this season, leaving him off the IDP radar, as his 10 tackles attest.

While Robey-Coleman (quad) was able to return to practice Tuesday, he won't travel with the team for Thursday's preseason finale, BuffaloBills.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robey-Coleman looks to be on track to return for Week 1, where he's expected to serve as the Bills' main nickel corner.

Robey-Coleman remains sidelined with a knee injury but expects to be back for Week 1 of the regular season, BuffaloBills.com reports. "Yeah, give me, I feel like another week, two weeks I will be ready," said Robey-Coleman. "I am doing good. I did a lot of running today, side to side movement and things like that and it felt real good on my joints, and felt good on my body."
EDGE Analysis
Rookie Kevon Seymour is thought to be pushing Robey-Coleman for the top nickel job, but he's also injured. Assuming Robey-Coleman can in fact suit up for Week 1, we think he'll still be the coach's choice. Seymour may push him all season, however.

Robey-Coleman left practice early Tuesday due to a quad contusion, BuffaloBills.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robey-Coleman just returned Monday from and ankle injury, so he must be getting frustrated that things aren't breaking his way as he tries to seal up the nickel job. A rising Kevon Seymour continues to make a good impression.

Robey-Coleman (ankle) returned to practice Monday, Joe Buscaglia of WKBW reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robey-Coleman missed Buffalo's most recent preseason game nursing his ankle, but after a week of healing, the 24-year-old appears poised to pick up where he left off.

Robey-Coleman did play in Sunday's preseason win over the Giants as he continues to be bothered by an ankle injury.
EDGE Analysis
Robey-Coleman should enter the season as the team's nickelback and No. 3 overall corner, though he had enough ups and downs last season that it would help if he can get back this week and further cement the job, with rookie Kevon Seymour coming on strong.

Robey-Coleman, who injured his ankle during Monday's practice, was on the sidelines in a walking boot Tuesday, BuffaloBills.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Rex Ryan says the boot is precautionary, so perhaps Robey-Coleman can get back into action soon. He's expected to be the Bills' nickel corner this season (is there a more aptly named player in the game?), though rookie Kevon Seymour, also out of USC like Robey-Coleman, has been coming on strong all summer.

Robby finished the 2015 season, his third in the NFL, with 46 tackles, four passes defensed, and one sack.
EDGE Analysis
Robey will be back with the Bills next season, but the team is pretty set at corner and it's hard to see him getting anything more than a nickel-type role. He played in 61.8 percent of the team's defensive snaps this season, up slightly from the 58.9 percent he saw the previous season.

Robey finished the 2014 season, his second in the NFL, with 48 tackles, eight passes defensed, two fumble recoveries, and a sack. He played in all 16 games. Not bad numbers for a guy who wasn't even drafted and saw a modest 58.9 percent of the defensive snaps. Unfortunately, it seems like Stephon Gilmore, Leodis McKelvin, and Corey Graham will all be around for another season, so even though Rex Ryan should be putting out a dangerous defense in 2015, Robey may be limited in just how much he sees the field. Injuries may be the one angle where he'd have IDP value.
