Four Deeper Sleepers to Target in 2015 Fantasy Football Drafts rotoballer.com Mon 8/31/15 12:33 PM

Yeldon, TE, Tyler Eifert, WR and more! I love late round fliers. What’s not to like? They are your last few picks on draft day (besides DEF/K) so there is very little risk involved, and if they hit, you look like a fantasy football genius. If they don’t hit, you just cut them and move on to the hot waiver pickup of the week. You can’t lose with these guys, unless you drop them and they end up becoming relevant. That has definitely happened to me before. Anyways, in this column about four deeper fantasy football draft slee[...]Keep on reading: Four Deeper Sleepers to Target in 2015 Fantasy Football Drafts

Turn the Page: 10 Players to Pass on in 2014 Drafts fantasysharks.com Thu 1/9/14 9:06 AM

There comes a time when it becomes necessary to just let things go. That favorite old "Huey Lewis and the News" tee shirt just simply doesn't hold up anymore and a trip to the curb beckons. It is no easy task to say goodbye and let it go. However, the stains along with the holes have begun to outnumber the stitching and family members have begun to mention "a certain smell" that accompanies the attire. You see where I'm going with this, right? In fantasy football there also comes a time when players have ‘hit the wall' and no longer garner the fantasy relevance they once held. That stud RB that led your team to a 2010 championship can't stay healthy or has seen his role reduced to short yardage specialist. That speedy WR that brought home the hardware back in 2011 has lost a step and a lot of his ability to hold on to the ball. Trust me. As a one time Marshall Faulk owner who just couldn't say goodbye I know of what I speak (write). As the snow and temperatures fell at an alarming rate here in my home state of Michigan last weekend I decided to do a little fantasy ‘house cleaning.' The following is a list of players that are no longer welcome on my draft board heading into the 2014 season. Ray Rice , RB, BALTIMORE: It may well have been a troublesome hip issue that helped lead to the paltry 660 yards rushing and four-touchdown performance for Rice in 2013. Maybe that is why he saw the lowest number of targets (73) and receptions (58) since his rookie season of 2008 and put up only 321 yards receiving. Or maybe, logging over 1,500 touches prior to last season over a five-year span have left Rice as a spent RB at the ripe old age of 27. Coming off of a season in which he posted career lows in both yards per carry and yards per reception I am officially moving on from Rice. Thanks for the memories Ray but this has the look of a Shaun Alexander scenario written all over it. Oh yeah, one final nail in the fantasy coffin. Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is also talking about setting up more of a RB "timeshare" moving forward. Ouch. Marques Colston , WR, NEW ORLEANS: After a frustrating season in which Colston put up five games with less than 50 yards receiving and another five in which he failed to hit 75 yards it's time to say adieu. He posted his lowest yardage total since 2008 when he was limited to 11 games and also registered his lowest touchdown total since that same season with five. You have to go back to 2009 to find a reception ...
