Kendricks (hamstring) and Kiko Alonso (knee) will likely both be out for Week 3 against the Jets, Philly.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Alonso's absence is a sure thing, whereas Kendricks may still have a shot to play. Either way, it appears DeMeco Ryans could have a three-down role out of necessity.

Kendricks is questionable to return to Sunday's game versus the Cowboys due to a left hamstring injury.
EDGE Analysis
In his first three professional campaigns, Kendricks averaged 6.3 tackles per game, which he easily surpassed in Week 1 this year (10 tackles last Sunday in Atlanta). The severity of the current concern is unknown, but with Kiko Alonso (knee) out for Sunday's contest, the Eagles are down to DeMeco Ryans and Jordan Hicks at inside linebacker.

Kendricks recorded 10 tackles in Monday's 26-24 loss to the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Last season, Kendricks led the Eagles in tackles despite missing four games. After one game this season, he leads the Birds in tackles once again. His knack for being around the ball, and ball carriers, makes him a potentially valuable IDP in most leagues where they're used.

Kendricks is a strong candidate to be traded, according to Geoff Mosher of CSN Philadelphia. The Eagles have a glut of talent at inside linebacker, with Kendricks joined by DeMeco Ryans and offseason acquisition Kiko Alonso. Both Kendricks and Alonso have strong three-down skillsets, whereas Ryans is more of a run-stuffer at this stage in his career. The team might find it useful to keep all three, but if a strong offer for Kendricks comes up, Alonso and Ryans would be a perfectly capable duo.

Kendricks finished 2014 with 83 tackles (62 solo), four sacks and three forced fumbles in 12 games. Aside from a calf injury that cost him four games, Kendricks' 2014 was a success by IDP standards. He finally took the next step in his development and used his rare speed and disruptiveness to establish a consistent presence behind the line of scrimmage, making 10 tackles for loss as a blitz-heavy inside linebacker. Kendricks posted his numbers over just 761 snaps, so if you project his stats over 1,000 snaps -- a safe figure for a three-down linebacker like Kendricks in a 16-game season -- his production would project to the range of 110 tackles and six sacks. Kendricks will probably go at an LB2 price in most IDP drafts next year, but he has the potential to offer LB1 numbers, especially if your league rewards heavily for sacks.

Kendricks (ankle) is listed as active Sunday against the Giants in New York, Sheil Kapadia of PhillMag.com reports. Kendricks will man his typical spot as one of the Eagles' starting inside linebackers, from which he's averaged seven tackles per game. Further cementing his IDP relevance are four sacks and three forced fumbles scattered across 11 contests this season.

Kendricks (ankle) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Giants. Kendricks was limited at Thursday's practice due to the ankle injury, but the setback will not prevent him from taking the field in Week 17. He will line up as one of the Eagles' two starting middle linebackers as he usually does.

Kendricks (ankle) was listed as limited on the Eagles' injury report Thursday. Kendricks has put together an impressive five-game stretch, accumulating 37 tackles (29 solo), two forced fumbles, one sack, and one pass defended. Because he landed on the injury report in the middle of preparation, he's a fair bet to man his normal spot at inside linebacker Sunday against the Giants at New York.

Kendricks (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans. Kendricks, who has 40 tackles and three sacks on the year, is available for IDP consideration.

Kendricks (calf) is active for Sunday's game at Arizona, Geoff Mosher of CSN Philadelphia reports. Kendricks' first appearance since Week 2 has come to pass, and he'll in fact start at inside linebacker next to DeMeco Ryans (groin). If he earns the bulk of the defensive reps, Kendricks could add a nice tally to his 13 tackles (10 solo) and one sack from the first two contests of the season.
