Ball (groin) did not practice Wednesday, the Broncos' official site reports. At this stage, Ball's return does not appear imminent, which also applies to fellow RB Ronnie Hillman. We'll let you know if that assessment changes at all in the coming days. For the time being, C.J. Anderson remains in line to head the Broncos' Week 14 rushing attack against the Bills.

Ball (groin) did not practice Wednesday, ESPN.com reports. The report suggests that the Broncos hope that Ball can return to the practice field within the next two weeks, but at this stage, his return is not imminent. The same applies to fellow RB Ronnie Hillman, which sets the stage for C.J. Anderson to continue to head the team's backfield Sunday against the Chiefs.

Ball (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, the Broncos' official site reports. As expected, with previous reports suggesting that Ball is expected to miss at least two-to-three weeks. With Ronnie Hillman also sidelined, C.J. Anderson is slated to head the Broncos' Week 12 backfield, with Juwan Thompson and Kapri Bibbs on hand to serve in complementary roles.

Ball (groin) did not practice Wednesday, ESPN's Jeff Legwold reports. While not officially ruled out this week by the Broncos, the ESPN report suggests that Ball is expected to miss at least two-to-three weeks. With Ronnie Hillman also sidelined, C.J. Anderson is on track to head the Broncos' Week 12 backfield, with Juwan Thompson also in the mix.

Ball, who re-strained his groin injury Sunday, is expected to miss the next two or three weeks, the Denver Post reports. While the Broncos have yet to confirm that Ball will miss time, it looks safe to assume that he will due to his Week 11 setback. With Ronnie Hillman also expected to miss additional time with a foot injury, the Broncos' Week 12 backfield is slated to be led by C.J. Anderson, with Juwan Thompson and Kapri Bibbs in reserve.

Ball -- who aggravated his groin injury Sunday against the Rams -- has an MRI on tap Monday, Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports. Tight end Julius Thomas suffered an ankle injury Sunday and Emmanuel Sanders suffered a concussion in the game, but of the three, Klis speculates that Ball's injury may be the most serious. In a scenario where Ball is forced to miss additional time, C.J. Anderson would be in line to continue to head the Broncos' backfield, with Ronnie Hillman out with a foot injury.

Ball (groin), who acknowledged he that didn't feel right after his first few plays in Sunday's loss to the Rams, said afterward that it's "hard to tell" how much time he'll miss, ESPN's Jeff Legwold reports. While this nugget does not provide much clarity with regard to Ball's availability going forward, the running back did not immediately downplay his injury, which suggests that his Week 12 status is cloudy at this stage.

Though Ball suited up Sunday, he did not return to action after aggravating his groin injury for a second time, NFL.com reports. We'll monitor Ball's status in the coming days, though given that he appeared to be limping noticeably prior to his exit from Sunday's game, his Week 12 status is cloudy. With Ball not logging a carry or catch (on two targets) Sunday, C.J. Anderson headed the Broncos' backfield, recording nine carries for 29 yards and eight catches for 86 yards.

Though Ball re-entered Sunday's game against the Rams after suffering a groin injury, he appeared to aggravate the issue and is questionable to return. While the Broncos haven't ruled Ball out for the rest of Sunday's game, after seeing him limp off the field, we'd be surprised if he re-entered the contest.

Ball suffered a groin injury Sunday against the Rams, though his return to the game is listed as probable, ESPN's Jeff Legwold reports. It remains to be seen if Ball re-enters the contest, but that he's listed as probable to return suggests that his injury may simply have been a minor tweak.
