Mike Wallace caught five passes for 144 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Colts. Wallace outran the entire Colts defense for an 81-yard touchdown in the first quater. He's now gone over 100 yards in all three games this season, and in six consecutive games going back to 2010. It's not outside the realm of possibility that he could finish the year as fantasy's top overall receiver.

Ben Roethlisberger audibled to a fade for Mike Wallace on a 2-yard touchdown in Sunday's win over the Seahawks. A run was called in the huddle, but Big Ben showed supreme confidence in Wallace. These two are building some of the best chemistry in the league. No longer a one-trick deep threat, Wallace is a weekly WR1 in fantasy.

Mike Wallace made it clear Thursday that the Steelers will attack rookie CB Jimmy Smith in the passing game this week. "He needs to worry about us," Wallace said. "He just needs to be ready, because we're going to be coming at him. Man, we can take our shots deep on anybody. We don't discriminate." The Ravens have two new starters in Smith and Cary Williams, so look for the Steelers to be weighted more toward the pass than the run this week.

Mike Wallace expressed no concern over his quiet preseason. Fantasy owners shouldn't be worried either. Even though Wallace has just two catches for nine yards in three exhibition games, he's healthy and locked in as Ben Roethlisberger's No. 1 receiver. "I feel like when the regular season comes I'll get my plays, too, and I'm going to make the most of them when I get the ball," Wallace said. He remains an upside pick in non-PPR formats.

Mike Wallace has set a goal of 2,000 receiving yards this season, which would break Jerry Rice's record of 1,848 from 1995. It's the second time Wallace has mentioned the goal to beat writers, so he's serious about gunning for it. "I figure that if I average 20 yards a catch this year and catch 100 balls, that will be 2,000 yards," Wallace explained. The 20.0 average is certainly a possibility, but Wallace isn't going to add 40 receptions this season. A more realistic goal for the Rotoworld Draft Guide's No. 6 fantasy receiver is 1,500 yards.
