Wilson hauled in two of four passes for 19 yards during Sunday's 20-16 loss at Washington.
EDGE Analysis
In a game in which starting quarterback Joshua Dobbs attempted 30 passes, Wilson's four targets ranked fourth on the Cardinals behind Zach Ertz (10), Marquise Brown (five) and James Conner (five), despite leading all of the team's skill-position players in offensive snap share (90 percent). On a positive note, Wilson was on the receiving end of one of Dobbs' rare deep shots that went for 15 yards. But, considering Dobbs' limitations as a passer and Wilson's status as a boundary option, the rookie wide receiver doesn't hold much upside as long as Dobbs is under center. Wilson's next chance to make his mark arrives Sunday against the Giants.

Wilson wasn't targeted on 14 offensive snaps during Saturday's 38-10 preseason loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
After posting two catches (on three targets) for eight yards in the Cardinals' exhibition opener against the Broncos, Wilson didn't make a mark in the box score this time around. Fortunately for the 2023 third-round pick, he started alongside fellow wide receiver Marquise Brown while Rondale Moore and Greg Dortch came off the bench. The order of each player's first snaps Saturday may not be replicated in the regular season or even when quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) is healthy enough to suit up, but Wilson appears as if he'll be a regular target for whoever is under center for Arizona as a rookie.

Wilson gathered in two of three targets for eight yards during Friday's 18-17 preseason win against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson got the start at wide receiver alongside Rondale Moore and Zach Pascal with top option Marquise Brown unavailable due to an undisclosed injury. The 2023 third-round pick didn't do much with his three looks, but he was on the receiving end of a deep pass from rookie quarterback Clayton Tune that fell incomplete. Such usage may be where Wilson will be able to make an impact in the Cardinals offense in his first year as a pro, specifically as a boundary option. His next chance for exhibition action arrives Saturday, Aug. 19 versus the Chiefs.
