Wilson hauled in one of two targets for five yards during Sunday's 34-28 loss at Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals trotted out rookie Marvin Harrison, Wilson and Greg Dortch as their starting wide receivers Week 1, but the first two had just one catch apiece while Dortch compiled a 6-47-0 line on eight targets. It's unlikely that Harrison and Wilson will be held down too often this season, but the pair also has to contend with TE Trey McBride (nine targets Sunday) and RB James Conner (four targets) for the attention of QB Kyler Murray. Wilson will seek to get his 2024 season on track during a Week 2 matchup with the Rams this coming Sunday.

Wilson is working with the starting offense early in training camp, ahead of newcomer Zay Jones, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals signed Jones in May, shortly after taking fellow wideout Marvin Harrison with the third overall draft pick. With Harrison locked in for a starting spot, the other two starting roles presumably will come down to Wilson, Jones and 5-foot-7 slot man Greg Dortch. Wilson was targeted on 14.1 percent of his routes as a rookie -- one of the lowest rates in the league among starting wide receivers -- but he made the most of his limited chances with a 65.5 percent catch rate and 14.9 yards per reception (9.7 YPT). The 2023 third-round pick enters Year 2 as the favorite to start opposite Harrison, and there's always the possibility of some volume growth even if Harrison and TE Trey McBride are runaway favorites to be the team's most heavily targeted players.

Wilson has more competition for targets from quarterback Kyler Murray after the team selected Marvin Harrison fourth overall in this year's draft and then signed seven-year pro Zay Jones last week, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson spent much of the offseason No. 2, at best, in the pecking order in the Cardinals passing game behind tight end Trey McBride, but the recent additions leave Wilson's potential volume in the upcoming campaign up in the air. As a rookie second-round pick last year, Wilson put together a 38-565-3 line on 58 targets in 13 contests, but he produced just 13 catches (on 25 targets) for 164 yards and one touchdown in five outings with Murray under center. The arrival of the dynamic Harrison likely leaves Wilson fending for looks with Jones, who has three years with at least 500 receiving yards on his resume.

Wilson is part of a thin WR room in Arizona after the team traded Rondale Moore and lost Marquise Brown in free agency, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
That said, the Cardinals own the fourth overall pick in a draft with three elite wide receiver prospects and might end up having their choice of the three. They also have time to pursue veterans, though journeyman Chris Moore has been the only free-agent addition so far. Wilson came in as a third-round pick last season and started 12 of his 13 games while posting excellent per-target efficiency numbers -- 65.5 percent catch rate, 14.9 YPR, 9.7 YPT -- but his low rate of targets per route (14.1 percent) leaves him as somewhat of a question mark. He's got opportunity and size (6-2, 213) working in his favor, while speed (4.58 40) and age (turned 24 in February) were dings on the prospect profile coming out of Stanford. If nothing else, Wilson seems to be in pretty good position to reprise his role as a starter who doesn't see that many targets.

Wilson gathered in all six targets for 95 yards during Sunday's 21-20 loss to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson's yardage total marked a career best for the 2023 third-round pick, but perhaps more promising for the future was the fact he finally seemed to be on the same page with quarterback Kyler Murray. In four previous appearances together this season, the duo connected on just seven of 19 passes for 69 yards and one touchdown. Wilson thus heads into the offseason with a bit of momentum for the 2024 campaign, and he'll end the current season with a cumulative 38-565-3 line on 58 targets, which equates to a healthy 14.9 YPC and 9.7 YPT.

Wilson gathered in four of six targets for 35 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 35-31 victory at Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Since sitting out Weeks 11-13 due to a neck injury, Wilson wasn't on the same page with Kyler Murray over the previous two games, failing to record a catch on seven targets. While he wasn't exactly efficient with his looks Sunday (5.8 YPT), Wilson got back in the end zone for the first time since Week 4 on a five-yard touchdown with 5:26 remaining in the contest. He'll aim to keep things up Week 18 against the Seahawks.

Wilson will continue to play a regular role in the Cardinals offense in the final two games of the regular season, especially after Marquise Brown (heel) was placed on injured reserve Friday, Zach Gershman of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Regarding Arizona's rookie class in general Thursday, coach Jonathan Gannon said, "Reps are gold right now for those guys, and they'll take the next step." Speaking of reps, Wilson hasn't lacked for them since the team's Week 14 bye, earning at least an 88 percent snap share the last two contests. Having said that, his lack of a rapport with Kyler Murray is evident, as Wilson has been contained to three catches (on 13 targets) for 34 yards in the three games in which they've both played. With Brown sidelined Weeks 17 and 18, Wilson will attempt to build some momentum going into the offseason while serving as one of the top WRs available to Murray along with Rondale Moore and Greg Dortch.

Wilson (neck) was targeted three times but did not record a reception in Sunday's 45-29 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson returned from a neck injury that cost him Arizona's last three games leading into the bye week. The 23-year-old failled to record a reception on three targets as he was eased back into action against San Francisco. While his stat line would normally sour any potential fantasy appeal, Wilson could see his role on offense increase if starter Marquise Brown (heel) is unable to suit up against Chicago next Sunday after re-aggravating the same heel injury for the second week in a row.

Wilson (neck) is listed as active Sunday against the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson didn't play Weeks 11-13 due to a shoulder injury, which was reclassified as a neck issue following the Cardinals' Week 14 bye. He managed a trio of limited practices during Week 15 prep and went into the weekend as questionable to suit up. Fellow wide receiver Marquise Brown's (heel) status also was up in the air for Sunday's game, but both players will be available to Arizona's offense. Wilson will have a chance to produce against a San Francisco defense that has yielded the sixth-highest catch rate (67.3 percent) to wideouts on the campaign.

Wilson (neck), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports
EDGE Analysis
Wilson last played Week 10 and seems to have benefited from a Week 14 bye. He was a limited practice participant throughout the week, with coach Jonathan Gannon saying Friday that the rookie looked good in practice and should be ready to play. However, we won't know officially if he will play until inactives are announced 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.
