A source confirms to PFT that the Bengals have no interest in free agent Michael Vick. When Vick first got out of prison and Andy Dalton was a rookie in 2011, the Bengals reportedly had interest. But now that Vick is an injury-prone 34-year-old, rocking Dalton's boat wouldn't make much sense. Vick would be a far better fit as a bridge quarterback with a team like the Raiders, Jets or Texans. Meanwhile, there have been whispers that the Bengals are looking to extend Dalton's contract, which expires after the 2014 season.

CBS' Jason La Canfora reports the Raiders are "mulling" free agent Michael Vick. La Canfora also reports the Texans are "seen as a likely landing spot for (Vick)," but it's unclear if he's simply spitballing. Per La Canfora, the Jets are an unlikely landing spot, while the Eagles remain in play. There haven't been many concrete reports on a soft market's "top available quarterback," but that should change in the run up to the March 11 start of free agency.

According to NFL Network, "it's clear the Jets are viewed as a legitimate possible landing spot" for free agent Michael Vick. This flies in the face of a Sunday report from plugged in New York Daily News Jets beat mean Manish Mehta, who is hearing that a Vick signing is "unlikely." It's possible that both reports have validity. The Jets are a legit possibility for Vick because he has ties to Marty Mornhinweg and could mentor Geno Smith. But it's unlikely because they're not interested in the distraction Vick inevitably brings.

The New York Daily News reports the Jets are "unlikely" to sign free agent Michael Vick. In the event Matt Schaub is released by the Texans, he's not expected to be interested in signing with the Jets as Geno Smith's backup. Vick has a history with Jets OC Marty Mornhinweg, as the two worked together in Philadelphia for four seasons. Vick is easily the top free-agent quarterback on the market and should find a team willing to give him a legitimate shot at a starting job.

One NFL personnel executive confirmed to NFL.com that Michael Vick is "undoubtedly" the best quarterback on the free-agent market and will land a starting job this offseason. "There are too many teams that are in need of an upgrade for him not to be looked at as a starter," the NFL executive said. "Vick could be a very good bridge starter for two to three years." Vick has reportedly drawn interest from the Jets and Bucs this offseason, while the Vikings, Texans, Raiders, and Jaguars are all in the market for a starting quarterback. He isn't more than a mid-tier starter at this point, but showed he was capable of leading a team when on the field for the Eagles in 2013. Despite entering his age 34 season, Vick is likely to command multi-year deal this offseason.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Sunday Countdown that the Jets and Bucs are both "expected to have some level of interest" in free agent Michael Vick. Vick's old offensive coordinator in Philly, Marty Mornhinweg, is entering his second year as the Jets' OC. The Bucs recently hired Lovie Smith as head coach and could pursue competition for holdover sophomore Mike Glennon. Both clubs have salary cap room to spend and young quarterbacks on their current rosters who've yet to establish themselves in the league. Vick turns 34 in June.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports impending free agent Michael Vick "very badly" wants to start in 2014. Reporter Les Bowen fully expects Vick to move on from the Eagles. Vick will undoubtedly draw interest as a "bridge" starter from quarterback-needy teams, but won't have much room for error wherever he ends up. It's possible he won't find the market he's looking for, and returns to Philadelphia as Nick Foles' backup. Vick turns 34 in June.

Asked Monday about free agent Michael Vick, Eagles coach Chip Kelly replied "I love Michael Vick. That guy is awesome." It's futher indication the Eagles would "love" to have Vick return as Nick Foles' backup in 2014, but that decision will be left up to a quarterback turning 34 in June whose NFL stock is enhanced by a bone-bare free agent market at his position. These are the top five signal callers whose contracts are up: 1. Vick 2. Josh McCown 3. Josh Freeman 4. Shaun Hill 5. Chad Henne.
