Forte rushed 14 times for 27 yards and caught two of three targets for 16 receiving yards Sunday against the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Forte continues to dominate the carries, but the Jets have been using Bilal Powell much more in the passing game of late despite Forte's long history of being an excellent pass catcher. Powell rushed just four times for 26 yards but he caught six of nine targets for 54 receiving yards. Forte is likely to be heavily used in Week 5 against the Steelers, but his fantasy upside isn't nearly as high if the Jets keep pulling him off the field on passing downs.

Forte (knee) practiced fully Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The Jets plan to limit Forte on Wednesdays, but he's in no danger of missing Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Through three weeks, Forte has logged 67 carries, a figure topped only by LeGarrette Blount (75), Lamar Miller (74) and Ezekiel Elliott (71). In the process, Forte has racked up 261 rushing yards with three TDs, to go along with nine catches for 67 yards.

Forte (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, NJ.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per the report, Forte's limitations are no major concern, with coach Todd Bowles having previously outlined the Jets' plan to limit Forte's practice participation on Wednesdays. With that in mind, look for Forte to return to a full session by the end of the week.

Forte rushed 15 times for 65 yards and caught two of four targets for minus-one yard during Sunday's 24-3 loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
The Jets trailed 17-3 at the half, and there was little Forte could do in the passing game in the second half, as quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw five of his six interceptions in the final two quarters. While the team will try to bounce back from it's awful performance Sunday, the schedule gets much tougher, as the Jets will host Seattle in Week 4 before traveling to face the Steelers and Cardinals.

Forte (knee) was listed as a full practice participant Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Forte is thus in line to continue to head the Jets' rushing attack in Week 3 against the Chiefs. Through two games, Forte has logged 52 carries (only two backs have more) for 196 yards and three TDs to go along with seven catches for 68 yards.

Forte was limited in practice Wednesday because of a sore knee, but he is still expected to play Sunday against the Chiefs, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
EDGE Analysis
Forte is coming off a three-touchdown game in Week 2 against the Bills, and given how few carries Bilal Powell has been able to get early this season, Forte looks primed for another big workload this weekend.

Forte totaled 100 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries and secured two of three targets for nine yards in Thursday's 37-31 victory over the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran has now tallied 56 carries over his first two games in a Jets uniform, starring in the power running attack that offensive coordinator Chan Gailey has often made a key component of his offense in past seasons and previous stops. The 30 carries were actually a career high for Forte, while the three rushing touchdowns equaled a high-water mark as well. The nine-year veteran dominated backfield touches in even more thorough fashion than in Week 1, as Bilal Powell was the only other back to receive a carry, a just a single one at that. While he may not be able to sustain such a workload over the course of a full season, Gailey's playbook typically features a unique combination of a robust ground game with an aggressive air attack, meaning that Forte should still see plenty of work given his diversified skill set.

Forte had 22 carries for 96 rushing yards and caught five passes on seven targets for 59 receiving yards during Sunday's 23-22 loss to the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
After missing most of the preseason with a hamstring injury, Forte was heavily used in his first regular season game for the Jets, leading the team in rushing and receiving yards. Of more importance, he dominated the backfield touches, as Bilal Powell finished with just four carries for 41 rushing yards (including a long of 16) while catching two passes on four targets for seven receiving yards. Any talk of a split in backfield touches should be quieted for now, though Powell's touches will likely increase as the season goes on and the team tries to keep Forte fresh. Up next is a Week 2 trip to Buffalo.

Forte (hamstring) rushed 10 times for 28 yards and caught two passes for nine yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Forte sat out the Jets' first couple preseason games with a tight hamstring, but made his debut for the team Friday. Although the veteran failed to find much room to run, his 12 total touches all came during the first half, showing just how involved he's expected to be in New York's offense. To ensure he's fresh for Week 1, it wouldn't be surprising if Forte misses Thursday's preseason finale, so his outing against the Giants likely marked his only preseason appearance.

Forte (hamstring) said he will play in Saturday's preseason game against the Giants, The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Forte was held out of the Jets' first two preseason contests, but he'll make his likely sole appearance before the regular season after returning to normal practice this week. Forte is expected to handle a bulk of the carries this season, so getting him some game reps before Week 1 was important.
