Jones signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Lions on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Jones posted 46 receptions on 81 targets for 529 yards and three touchdowns across 16 appearances with the Jaguars in 2022, his least productive healthy season since his rookie campaign. The 2012 fifth-round pick will head back to Detroit, with whom he played from 2016 through 2020, including a 2017 campaign in which he set a career high with 1,101 receiving yards. With DJ Chark now in Carolina, Jones will likely slot in as the No. 3 wideout behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, who should be store for a heftier workload after a lost rookie season.

Jones recorded two catches (on six targets) for 29 yards during Saturday's 20-16 win versus the Titans.

EDGE Analysis

After posting no more than 22 yards in five consecutive games following a Week 11 bye, Jones paced all Jaguars with 61 yards and seven targets last Sunday in Houston. His Week 18 performance thus is in line with his recent standard, Week 17 aside, but at the very least the Jaguars were able to clinch the AFC South title, meaning he's on pace for action in the wild-card round next weekend.

Jones caught six of seven targets for 61 yards during Sunday's 31-3 win over the Texans.

EDGE Analysis

The 32-year-old was Jacksonville's only pass catcher with any notable production in Sunday's blowout, as Trevor Lawrence attempted just 21 passes for 152 yards. It was the first time since Week 9 that Jones had more than three receptions or 40 receiving yards.

Jones caught three of four targets for 15 yards during Thursday's 19-3 win over the Jets.

EDGE Analysis

Evan Engram had seven receptions for 113 yards during Thursday's contest and was the only Jacksonville pass catcher with at least 30 yards. Jones is averaging 1.8 receptions and 21.0 yards across the past six games and has minimal fantasy relevance, especially with Engram now enjoying a consistent role in the passing game.

Jones caught two of six targets for 17 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 40-34 overtime win over the Cowboys.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran wideout finished fourth on the team in targets, and his only play of note Sunday was a 10-yard touchdown reception during the third quarter. Jones has eight catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns across the past five games. He has a limited role in Jacksonville's aerial attack and doesn't have much fantasy utility while Christian Kirk and Zay Jones remain healthy.

Jones caught his lone target for 22 yards during Sunday's 36-22 win against the Titans.

EDGE Analysis

The 32-year-old played a season-low 35 offensive snaps and saw only one target, while No. 4 wideout Jamal Agnew had four touches for 44 yards despite seeing only 11 snaps. Jones has multiple receptions in just one of the past four games, resulting in six catches (on 11 targets) for 94 yards and a touchdown during that span.

The 32-year-old played only 69 percent of Jacksonville's offensive snaps while Christian Kirk and Zay Jones saw every-down roles and combined for 22 targets. It's the second time in the past three games Jones (Marvin, that is) has failed to record more than one reception. He enters Jacksonville's Week 11 bye with 28 catches for 346 yards and one touchdown through nine contests.

Jones recorded five catches on six targets for 48 yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Raiders.

EDGE Analysis

Jones bounced back from a catchless performance in Week 8 to finish second on the Jaguars in targets, yards and receptions, though he now has below 50 receiving yards in seven of his nine games on the campaign. His longest gain of the day went for 15 yards. It's difficult to project that things will get much better for Jones, as the Jaguars primarily run their offense through Christian Kirk and Travis Etienne.
