Addison (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice session.
EDGE Analysis
Addison sustained a shoulder injury during Saturday's wild-card win over the Patriots, and coach Sean McDermott said after the game that the 34-year-old is considered day-to-day. It's encouraging that Addison was able to take the field Wednesday, but he'll likely need to practice fully later in the week if he hopes to avoid the injury report for Sunday's divisional matchup against Kansas City.

Coach Sean McDermott said Monday that Addison, who suffered a shoulder injury during Saturday's win over the Patriots, is "day-to-day at this point to see where that leads us through the week," the Bills' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Addison is an important part of the defensive line as a key piece in the team's rotational system. He led the Bills with 7.0 sacks this season and could play an important role in trying to get some extra pressure on Patrick Mahomes in the upcoming divisional-round meeting.

Addison (shoulder) is questionable to return Saturday against the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Addison picked up the injury in the middle of the third quarter. While he's out, the Bills' pass-rush will take a hit. Carlos Basham or A.J. Epenesa will likely see extra opportunity until Addison is able to return.

Addison has agreed to take a pay cut of $2 million to help the team's cap room, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
EDGE Analysis
The Bills' offseason strategy has been to keep as much of their AFC Championship team intact as possible, not an easy task for general manager Brandon Beane given the reduced cap for all teams. Somehow the team has managed to keep Addison, Vernon Butler, Matt Milano and Daryl Williams all in the fold already. The veteran Addison will be back to try and secure a starting DE role across from fellow veteran Jerry Hughes. Addison posted 30 tackles and 5.0 sacks in his first season as a Bill over 15 regular-season gams after coming over from Carolina.

Addison (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Addison will rest because the Bills have locked up home-field advantage for the first round of the playoffs. The 33-year-old defensive end posted 30 tackles (21 solo), five solo and four pass breakups over 15 regular-season games. With Jerry Hughes also scratched, Trent Murphy and A.J. Epenesa are set to start at defensive end.

Addison (knee) is active for Sunday's Week 4 tilt against the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran defensive end finished the week with a missed Friday practice, so he appeared to be a true 50/50 proposition coming into the weekend. However, Addison will apparently be available in his usual role as a rotational defensive end behind Jerry Hughes as the Bills look to slow down a short-handed Raiders offense.

Addison (knee) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Las Vegas.
EDGE Analysis
This must be something that cropped up during the week for the veteran, as he played a full game in Week 3 and practiced Wednesday and Thursday. Expect Addison -- who has two sacks so far in his first season as a Bill -- to be a game-time decision for Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET start.

Addison made three tackles -- two for a loss -- and a sack in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
The Jets threw early and often in Week 1, and with Matt Milano (hamstring) leaving the game early, Addison was deployed on 35 of 56 defensive snaps (62 percent), with several of those coming as a linebacker. He was a nuisance for the Jets' offensive line, and if Milano's forced to miss any time, Addison could line up as a linebacker more often in Week 2 against the Dolphins.

Addison agreed to terms on a three-year contract with the Bills on Monday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old had 34 tackles (20 solo), 9.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in 16 games in 2019, and he's recorded at least nine sacks in each of the past four seasons. Addison figures to fill the void in Buffalo's pass rush left by the departure of Shaq Lawson, who is signing with the Dolphins.

Addison plans to test the free-agent market, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Addison has led the Panthers in sacks for four straight seasons, and while it's still possible that he could re-sign with the team, it looks as though he'll at least explore what sort of a return he commands when free agency begins March 18. Entering his age-33 season, Addison boasts a track record of both consistent production and health. He's played at least 14 regular-season games in seven consecutive campaigns.
