Marcus Easley (illness) is listed as questionable for Week 1.
The second-year wideout was a late addition to the injury report on Friday, but should be active on Sunday against the Chiefs. Although Easley is expected to be a contributor this season after missing all of 2010 with a left knee injury, it's highly doubtful he'll come into any fantasy value.

Starting opposite Steve Johnson, Marcus Easley hauled in five catches for 51 yards and a score in Saturday's preseason game.
Ryan Fitzpatrick found Easley for an 11-yard touchdown early in the second quarter. It was an excellent performance from a player who could find himself in the starting lineup in Week 1 if Donald Jones' "head" injury lingers. For the preseason, Easley has seven receptions for 96 yards.

Bills WR Marcus Easley (knee) returned to practice Wednesday night.
Easley missed just over a week after hyperextending his left knee. The Bills plan for Easley to make his preseason debut this weekend. If the rest of the receivers are healthy, Easley may be forced onto the practice squad this year. He's no higher than sixth on the depth chart right now.

Bills WR Marcus Easley (knee) is expected to miss about a week of training camp.
This is actually good news. Easley got a scare when he hyperextended his left knee Saturday -- the same knee that he had surgically repaired around this time last year. There's still some value here as a stash in deep Dynasty formats.

Uh-oh. We note this injury because it sounds like an aggravation of the injury that caused Easley to miss his entire rookie season. He had been pegged as an upside project for the Bills and possible No. 4 receiver.

Bills WR Marcus Easley has bulked up to 220 pounds after being listed at 207 last season.
Easley injured his knee during his rookie training camp a year ago and missed the entire season. He used that time to put on "good weight." While there's certainly opportunity in the Bills' weak receiving corps, Easley's lack of experience and cancellation of the offseason program will hurt him. He's merely a deep Dynasty stash for now.

Steve Johnson tapped the breaks on the Marcus Easley hype, suggesting the athletic 2010 fourth-rounder is not yet ready for a breakout season.
"He really hasn't played a down in the NFL," said Johnson. "... I can't say he's going to blow up this year, but as soon as he gets comfortable and gets that feel for the game, I believe he will be another threat for the Buffalo Bills." We like Easley as a Dynasty league stash, but he's not worthy of a roster spot in redraft formats.

Bills second-year WR Marcus Easley (knee surgery) has been fully healthy since December, according to the team's website.
Easley had "significant" surgery to repair loose and torn cartilage in his left knee last August, so he's definitely now 100 percent. The Bills are looking at Easley as a situational deep threat. "He has that top end speed and he's strong too," WRs coach Stan Hixon said. "That helps out in the bump and run and in underneath coverage, beating the linebackers. I think that it gives him an opportunity to be as good as he wants to be."
