Brown rushed the ball 18 times for 69 yards and fumbled once in Thursday's preseason win over the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Besides the third-quarter fumble, it was a good showing for Brown, who is on the bubble of making the 53-man roster as he currently sits behind the likes of Rob Kelley, Samaje Perine and Chris Thompson. The second-year pro has separated himself from the bottom of Washington's depth chart during the preseason but the team may opt to only carry three running backs into Week 1.

Brown recorded three carries for 13 yards in Sunday's preseason win over the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Brown only received 11 offensive reps but still ended the night as Washington's second-leading rusher. The second-year man is right on the bubble of making the 53-man roster, with Rob Kelley, Samaje Perine and Chris Thompson assured spots. Thursday's preseason finale against the Buccaneers could make or break Brown's run with the Redskins.

Brown recorded two receptions for 17 yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Brown managed only 19 offensive reps Saturday and failed to record a carry. His two receptions were short dump-off passes, one of which he managed to turn into a 13-yard gain, but overall it was a relatively quiet performance from the second-year back. Fifth on the depth chart, it may be difficult for Brown to carve out reps in Sunday's matchup with the Bengals.

Brown may not have much control over whether he makes the final roster, CSN Mid-Atlantic's Rich Tandler reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Rob Kelley, Chris Thompson and Samaje Perine all locked in, Brown and Keith Marshall figure to compete for the No. 4 spot on a team that may only keep three running backs on its final roster. Brown did at least work ahead of Marshall during the offseason program, but the latter makes for a more intriguing developmental project for the practice squad thanks to his rare size/speed combination. Brown may have narrowed the gap by trimming down to six percent body fat in the offseason, but he still profiles as no better than a middling athlete for the position.

Brown worked out with Bills running back LeSean McCoy this offseason, focusing on his balance and cuts in addition to his conditioning, Stephen Czarda of Redskins.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown said he gained about eight pounds of muscle while also losing some bad weight, leaving him at 217 pounds with only six percent body fat. He hopes the improvement will help him earn a spot on the Week 1 roster -- something he failed to do last season when he spent most of September and October on the practice squad. Brown did join the active roster for nine games, but he only took eight carries for 82 yards and a touchdown, with all of that work coming in Week 16. While the impressive cameo and his improved physique should help his cause, Brown likely will find himself battling for one of the final roster spots behind fellow running backs Robert Kelley and Chris Thompson. The competition will include Matt Jones, Keith Marshall and possibly a selection from the upcoming draft.

Brown rushed the ball eight times for 82 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's win over the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
With the game safely out of reach, Brown received some garbage time minutes late in the game and made the most of his opportunity. The No. 3 back had an impressive 61-yard touchdown run with a minute left in the contest, sealing the Week 16 victory. While his run was very impressive, Washington will still likely rely on Rob Kelley and Chris Thompson in the rushing attack next week against the Giants, especially if their playoff hopes are still alive.

Brown (concussion) is listed as questionable by the Redskins for Monday's game versus the Panthers, Brian McNally of 106.7 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown was forced out of Week 14's win over the Eagles after undergoing a concussion. He practiced in a limited role throughout the week, before finally logging a full workload Saturday. It is unclear at this point if he has actually cleared concussion protocol or not. His status for Monday will not likely be determined until closer to game-time.

Brown remains under the league's concussion protocol after suffering a head injury during Sunday's win over the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Brown was unable to return to Sunday's matchup due to concussion symptoms, so he'll be in danger of missing next week's game against the Panthers as a result. Rob Kelley, Chris Thompson, and Matt Jones could be the three active running backs for Washington in Week 15.

Brown is being evaluated for a potential concussion and is questionable to return.
EDGE Analysis
With Matt Jones (coach's decision) inactive for the game, Washington would only have Rob Kelley and Chris Thompson as active running backs, should Brown be ruled out.
