Humphrey was released by the Broncos on Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official website reports.
EDGE Analysis
Humphrey re-signed with the Broncos in March after compiling 162 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 13 catches over 17 games with the team in 2023, but he'll now look for another opportunity elsewhere. He has appeared in at least three contests in each of the last five NFL seasons and will likely find a new suitor in the near future.

Humphrey is re-signing with the Broncos on a one-year contract, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Humphrey had 162 receiving yards and three touchdowns with Denver in 2023. He could have an opportunity to climb the depth chart after the Broncos traded Jerry Jeudy to Cleveland on Saturday, though Humphrey has yet to reach 250 receiving yards in a season since debuting with the Saints in 2019.

Humphrey ended the 2023 season with 13 receptions on 19 targets for 162 yards and three touchdowns.
EDGE Analysis
In his first year with the Broncos, Humphrey played in all 17 games despite moving between Denver's practice squad and active roster throughout the season. The veteran wideout wasn't used much as an offensive weapon, but he was still able to finish the season tied with tight end Adam Trautman for the third-most scores among all Broncos pass catchers. Humphrey is set to become a free agent this offseason, so the 25-year-old could find himself in a new locale when the 2024 campaign begins. If he signs back with Denver, he'll likely find it difficult to see consistent playing time behind fellow wideouts Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and Marvin Mims.

Humphrey caught two of four targets for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-9 win over the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Humphrey made the play of the game in the second quarter when he took a short pass from Jarrett Stidham and proceeded to juke and jive his way past several certain tackle opportunities before extending the ball past the goal line for a 54-yard touchdown. It was the only touchdown either team would record Sunday. It would have also counted as the game-winning score in hockey after the wideout's incredible play gave Denver a lead it would never surrender. While Humphrey had the best game out of any receiver, it is important to point out that his four targets finished third for the Broncos behind starters Jerry Jeudy and Brandon Johnson. Perhaps Humphrey's impressive catch and run will earn him more snaps and targets when the Broncos visit the Raiders in Week 18.

Humphrey logged 38 of the Broncos' 67 snaps on offense and hauled in his lone target for a 12-yard reception in Sunday's 24-7 win over the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
For the second week in a row, Humphrey worked as the Broncos' No. 3 receiver ahead of rookie Marvin Mims, taking on a 57 percent snap share to Mims' 37 percent. Though his playing time appears to be on the rise, Humphrey is typically little more than a tertiary option in the passing game while he often shares the field with Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and Javonte Williams. Humphrey has drawn exactly one target in five straight contests.

Humphrey played 14 of Denver's 75 snaps on offense and reeled in his lone target for a 14-yard reception in Monday's 24-22 win over the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Humphrey ranked a distant fourth among Denver receivers in snaps, trailing Courtland Sutton (65), Marvin Mims (52) and Jerry Jeudy (49). With the rookie Mims beginning to carve out a larger role and with head coach Sean Payton continue to show a proclivity for two-tight end sets, Humphrey doesn't look as though he'll be able to reclaim significant snaps anytime soon.

Humphrey was elevated to the Broncos' active roster Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of Denver's official website reports.
EDGE Analysis
Humphrey will continue his trend of being elevated ahead of each of the Broncos' contests this year, joining the active roster for eighth consecutive contest. The wide receiver has caught four passes for 26 yards and a touchdown while playing 121 offensive snaps this season.

Humphrey reverted to the Broncos' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
EDGE Analysis
Humphrey has been doing the back-and-forth from the practice squad and active roster most of the season, as he's appeared in all seven games to this point, catching four passes for 26 yards and one touchdown on five targets as a deep reserve.

Denver signed Humphrey to its practice squad and elevated him to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against Green Bay, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
It didn't take long for the Broncos to bring Humphrey back, as the 25-year-old was let go Friday after the team claimed Keondre Coburn off waivers. Humphrey has bounced back and forth between Denver's practice squad and active roster this season. He's appeared in all six of the Broncos' games thus far, recording four receptions for 26 yards and one touchdown.

Denver released Humphrey on Friday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Broncos claimed nose tackle Keondre Coburn off waivers from the Chiefs on Friday, and Humphrey was the corresponding roster move. Humphrey had just been signed to the active roster Wednesday after bouncing between the 53-man roster and practice squad through the early part of the campaign. He's played in all six of Denver's contests this season, tallying four catches on five targets for 26 yards and a touchdown.
