Moore (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's contest against the Packers, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite sitting out practice Monday, Moore expressed optimism with his ankle injury, but in the end, he wasn't afforded enough time to recover. In his stead, T.J. Jones will fill in as the No. 3 wide receiver, though Corey Fuller should also experience an uptick in snaps.

Moore (ankle) didn't practice Monday, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports. "Ankle is feeling better," he said. "Every day has been feeling better. To go from where I came from after the game to today is extremely encouraging and I'm just trying to do whatever I can to get back as soon as I can."
EDGE Analysis
Moore exited the Lions' Thanksgiving day tilt due to an ankle injury and has yet to step foot on the field. However, his comments indicate that the ankle is recovering quickly, giving him a chance to play Thursday against the Packers. If he's unable to suit up, T.J. Jones will serve as the No. 3 wide receiver.

Moore caught a 14-yard pass on his lone target in Thursday's win over the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
From Weeks 5 to 10, Moore found the end zone four times in five games. In the two games since, he has just two catches off of three targets. The Lions appear to be more of a two-receiver team under new offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter, heavily relient on the backs and tight ends. During Thursday's game, Moore's 23 total snaps trailed that of fullback Michael Burton, according to Pro Football Focus. He should remain out of lineups until further notice.

Moore recorded a 14-yard catch on his only target before leaving Thursday's win over the Eagles with an ankle injury, the Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thanks to the Lions' short week, Moore's ankle will be afforded some added healing time in advance of the team's Dec. 3 contest against the Packers. The veteran wideout enjoyed a bit of a roll earlier this season, but he's now logged two straight quiet fantasy efforts.

Moore caught one pass off of two targets for 21 yards in Sunday's win over Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Moore had scored touchdowns in four of five games entering Sunday, but delivered his second worst performance of the season against the Raiders. Moore has developed a rapport with Matthew Stafford, leading the Lions in touchdown catches. Without touchdowns, however, Moore doesn't have much value, tallying more than three catches in a game just twice all year. His nose for the end zone makes him an intriguing player, but his lack of supplemental production limits him to a buyer-beware pick-up.

Moore three passes off of six targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over Green Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Through nine games, the Lions' leader in receiving touchdowns is not Calvin Johnson or Eric Ebron or Golden Tate. It's Lance Moore. Moore, who caught all of eight passes during the first four games of the season, has now scored in four of the Lions' last five games. The veteran slot man has topped 55 yards just once this season, but may be worth a pickup in case he's able to keep up his scoring pace.

Moore caught three passes off of three targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Moore turned up the right sideline during a Matthew Stafford scramble, hauled in the pass and rolled into the end zone for the Lions' only touchdown of the game. He is now tied with Calvin Johnson and Eric Ebron for the team lead in touchdowns with three. Moore came aboard to provide a veteran presence to the Lions' offense and to help his teammates with former offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi's scheme. Instead, the 32-year-old slot man has become a scoring threat and a deep target, his six catches of 20 or more yards ranking second on the team behind Johnson's eight.

Moore was not targeted in Sunday's loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
After collecting 11 receptions and two touchdowns over the previous two weeks, Moore didn't see a pass come his way on Sunday. One of Moore's greatest values on the Lions was his familiarity with former offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi's scheme dating back to their time together in New Orleans. With Jim Bob Cooter, who worked as an assistant under head coach Jim Caldwell in Indianapolis, taking over the offense, that value may be minimized. Any interest in Moore should be suspended until the new-look Lions offense shows its colors.

Lions offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi is impressed with Moore's feel for the game, David Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
After catching eight passes on 14 targets through the first four weeks of the season, Moore has snagged 11 passes off of 14 targets in the last two games, scoring both of his 2015 touchdowns in the process. Moore may be the Lions player most familiar with Lombardi's offense dating back to the two's time in New Orleans. His understanding of the scheme, and the Lions' dependence on throwing the ball, may have turned Moore into quarterback Matthew Stafford's new security blanket.

Moore snagged five catches off of six targets for 106 yards and a score in Sunday's win over Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Sunday was Moore's first 100-yard game since Week 17 of the 2012 season. Moore now has as many targets over the past two weeks, 14, as he did in the first four weeks of the season combined. His role as the team's slot receiver has expanded with the absence of tight end Eric Ebron and it will be interesting to see how the offense operates and how Moore's role changes upon the second-year tight end's return sometime in the weeks ahead.
