Gainwell finished with one carry for seven yards and one catch for five yards in Monday's loss to the Commanders.
EDGE Analysis
After tying his season high with seven touches and a score in Week 9, Gainwell tied his season-low with just two touches in Week 10. He continues to have minimal fantasy relevance and doesn't even produce all that many points when he happens to find the end zone, as his workload is simply too small.

Gainwell rushed four times for 22 yards and a touchdown and brought in all three targets for 16 yards in the Eagles' 29-17 win over the Texans on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
Gainwell was able to complement backfield mate Miles Sanders' strong night on the ground (17-93-1) with his third rushing touchdown of the season on a four-yard run in the latter portion of the second quarter. Gainwell remains firmly behind Sanders in the backfield pecking order, but his season-high reception and receiving yardage totals combined with the score made it the second-year back's best fantasy performance of the season overall.

Gainwell carried the ball once for three yards and caught one pass for eight yards in Sunday's win over Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
The Eagles won by a comfortable 35-13 score, but it was Boston Scott, not Gainwell, who got the garbage-time carries. Gainwell saw the field for just 14 offensive snaps and remains far from a fantasy-relevant role.

Gainwell rushed for a season-high 25 yards on five carries in Sunday's win over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Gainwell got the Eagles into the red zone to set up their first score with a nine-yard rush late in the first quarter, but his overall impact on the game remained small even in a season-best performance. He only saw the field for 17 offensive snaps, well below Miles Sanders' 44, with the Eagles showing no inclination to move to a more even split.

Gainwell (ribs) practiced fully Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
After having a cap on his reps Wednesday due to a rib injury, Gainwell returned to all activity one day later. He's thus in line to resume serving as the No. 2 running back for the Eagles behind Miles Sanders. The role hasn't amounted to much work, as Gainwell is averaging 4.4 touches for 18.6 yards from scrimmage on 19.2 offensive snaps per game, though he has managed to score a pair of rushing TDs through five contests.

Gainwell was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a rib injury.
EDGE Analysis
Gainwell's ability to practice at all at the start of the week suggests he's on track to play Sunday against the Cowboys. The Eagles are also expected to have Boston Scott (rib) back in the lineup, though it's unclear if/how that affects Gainwell, given that most of Scott's usual workload simply went to starter Miles Sanders the past two weeks.

Gainwell carried the ball three times for 20 yards in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The Eagles continue to have a very clear hierarchy at the running back position and don't appear to be interested in anything close to a committee. Even with Boston Scott out with a rib injury and replacement third-string option Trey Sermon claiming just three snaps, Gainwell was out-snapped by Miles Sanders by a 54-16 margin. The Eagles' rushing attack is potent enough that Gainwell instantly would become quite an interesting option should Sanders get hurt, but there's little reason to look towards a player averaging 23.3 total yards on 4.4 touches per game until that happens.

Gainwell carried the ball five times for 19 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's win over the Jaguars, adding one catch on two targets for a loss of two yards.
EDGE Analysis
Gainwell put the Eagles in front late in the first half with a 10-yard touchdown run, his second of the year. While he's now on pace for a respectable 8.5 touchdowns this season, he still isn't playing a major role in the Eagles offense. Even with Boston Scott out with a rib injury, Gainwell played 22 offensive snaps and received just six touches.

Gainwell carried the ball three times for six yards in Sunday's win over the Commanders.
EDGE Analysis
Gainwell was back to being the clear second running back this time around, as his 22 snaps were far fewer than Miles Sanders' 41 but far more than Boston Scott's seven. Despite those snaps, though, he again failed to play a significant role in the Eagles offense. Through three games, he's averaging 18.7 total yards on 4.3 touches per game. With the undefeated Eagles likely seeing little reason to shake up their game plan, it probably will take an injury to Sanders to give Gainwell fantasy relevance.

Gainwell rushed twice for seven yards and pulled in one of his two targets for an 11-yard reception in Monday's win over the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Gainwell looked like the clear No. 2 back on the Eagles' depth chart in Week 1, but he wasn't significantly ahead of Boston Scott this time around. He only had a small edge over Scott in snaps (19 to 15), while Scott beat him in touches (five to three). Gainwell didn't help his case by missing a screen pass midway through the fourth quarter, with the ball deflecting off him for a Jordan Hicks interception, something which could potentially tilt things in Scott's favor going forward.
