Kendall Wright (knee) has been cleared for Sunday's game against the Steelers. He returned to practice Monday and hasn't had any setbacks. Wright will open the season behind Kenny Britt and Nate Washington, but his role should expand quickly if he can stay healthy.

Kendall Wright (knee) practiced Monday, and is expected to be ready for Sunday's opener. Wright went down in the Titans' second preseason game, but has progressed without setbacks. He'll run as the Titans' No. 3 receiver against the Steelers. Despite Wright's considerable talent, his role and the Titans' QB situation has him off the re-draft radar to begin the season. He could come into WR4 value fairly quickly, however.

Coach Mike Munchak still expects Kendall Wright (knee) to play in Week 1. Wright went down in the Titans' second preseason game with a sprained knee. Munchak's optimism suggests that the second-year man is near a return to full practice even though he won't suit up in the preseason finale. Wright will play behind Nate Washington and Kenny Britt initially, but his role should expand quickly. Wright gives Tennesse's receiving corps quicks and explosiveness after the catch that Washington can't.

A Sunday MRI revealed Kendall Wright has avoided a ligament tear and only has a sprained right knee. He's done for the preseason, but should be healthy by or at least close to Week 1. Wright can breathe a sigh of relief after admitting to reporters late Saturday he was "pretty worried" about the injury's extent. Through two preseason games, Wright has been playing behind Kenny Britt and Nate Washington. The 2012 first-rounder has four exhibition-game catches for 44 yards.

According to the Nashville Tennessean, "early indications" are Kendall Wright has avoided a ligament tear in his right knee. Beat writer Jim Wyatt believes Wright suffered a sprain as opposed to an ACL tear, which would be fantastic news after the second-year wideout admitted he was "pretty worried" about the injury. Wright is undergoing an MRI on Saturday night. A sprained MCL or something of that nature would only cost him 2-4 weeks. A torn ligament would have knocked Wright out for the year.

Kendall Wright says he's "pretty worried" about his right knee injury. Wright is undergoing an MRI on Sunday after limping off the field and being carted to the locker room against the Bengals. Wright believes he has a sprain, but that could obviously mean anything. It's terrible timing for the 2012 first-rounder, who's been turning heads in camp. A significant injury would throw inconsistent rookie Justin Hunter into the fire.

Kendall Wright was carted off with an undisclosed injury in Saturday's preseason game. Per ESPN AFC South blogger Paul Kuharsky, Wright looked "miserable" as he limped off the field. The good news is that he was limping, putting weight on his leg. Wright's status should be updated before the evening is through.

The Nashville Tennessean calls sophomore WR Kendall Wright a standout of Titans camp.

According to the Nashville Tennessean, Kendall Wright caught "everything thrown his way" in the Titans' offseason program. Per beat writer Jim Wyatt, Wright looked "faster and quicker" after shedding 15 pounds from his rookie playing weight of 201. The Titans hope to make their 2012 first-rounder a focal point of the offense after he caught 64 passes for 626 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie. It might not translate to a dramatic increase in fantasy value with the erratic Jake Locker under center, and Kenny Britt and second-rounder Justin Hunter also fighting for scraps.

According to Kendall Wright, there's "nothing" left over from the Titans' 2012 playbook. "It's just a new playbook," Wright said. "There's nothing left over from last year." Kenny Britt confirmed, saying the Titans are "starting from scratch" under OC Dowell Loggains. It's just the latest indication the Titans are facing a "win or else" edict from meddlesome owner Bud Adams. Rebuilding on the fly with little rhyme or reason, the Titans have train-wreck potential.
