Williams' teammate LeSean McCoy injured his shoulder in Sunday's win over Miami. While McCoy's injury does not appear to be serious and the Bills think he can play Thursday at the Jets, McCoy could be limited.
EDGE Analysis
Williams has come out of nowhere as a fifth-round rookie to being a guy that now has a crucial role with the Bills and has scored a rushing touchdown in all five games he's played. He makes for a great start this week - even against a stout Jets defense - if the Bills end up playing it safe and sitting Shady in a short week, and even a decent start if you're hurting and just need a guy who's likely guaranteed 8-10 touches with some additional upside.

Williams rushed nine times for 110 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Williams, playing in his first game since suffering a concussion back in Week 4 against the Giants, got a few extra looks after LeSean McCoy was taken to the locker room for a shoulder injury, showing his explosiveness on a 38-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to put the Bills up 33-14. McCoy said after the game that his shoulder injury will not hold him out Thursday against the Jets, which limits Williams' potential fantasy upside. Also a negative: the Jets boast one of the best run defenses in the NFL.

Williams (concussion) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
As long LeSean McCoy remains healthy, Williams' touches figure to be limited, though now that he has been cleared to play, the rookie back holds some value as McCoy insurance.

Williams is probable for Sunday's game.
EDGE Analysis
Williams missed the previous three games due to a concussion, but was cleared by the medical staff to participate in practice last week. He should be available for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, but it remains to be seen how much activity he might receive with LeSean McCoy fully healthy following the bye week.

Williams, who was cleared by the medical staff last week concerning his concussion, practiced in full Wednesday, BuffaloBills.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This sounded like a fairly serious deal the way Williams recently described his concussion. He missed three games, and it's the third documented concussion he's had in his life. So it's good news he's feeling normal and ready to play again. However, LeSean McCoy looked good last game and also comes out of the bye week healthy, so Williams' touches could be limited in this week's game against the Dolphins.

Williams (concussion) returned to practice Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Williams missed the Bills' most recent game due to a concussion, but following their Week 8 bye, has returned to the fold ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Although having a healthy LeSean McCoy in front of him certainly could scale-back Williams' touches, he remains a promising alternative option in the Bills' backfield.

Coach Rex Ryan confirmed Thursday that Williams (concussion) will not play Sunday against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Williams, who is among the Bills who did not travel with the team to London for Sunday's contest, will now eye a possible return to action in Week 9 against the Dolphins, following the team's bye next week. Once he is ready to return to game action, however, Williams' fantasy utility will remain capped as long as LeSean McCoy is able to stay on the field.

Williams (concussion) did not travel with the Bills for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, which will be held in London at Wembley Stadium.
EDGE Analysis
Williams, who remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, has not yet technically been ruled out this week by this Bills, but such an outcome appears likely to transpire upon the release of the Bills' final Week 7 injury report Friday. Dan Herron and Anthony Dixon are thus in line to back up LeSean McCoy this weekend.

Williams (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
EDGE Analysis
Concussions are always a dicey and scary injury for any player, and apparently Williams has not been cleared through the league's concussion protocol to the point where he's allowed to practice. LeSean McCoy is expected to return this week, so if he has no setbacks in the coming weeks, Williams' opportunity to have the bulk of carries in the Buffalo backfield may have passed.

Williams (concussion) did not take part in Friday's practice, Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams was unable to get on the field at all during practice this week. That was also the case last week and he was unable to suit up against the Titans, so he is in danger of missing his second straight game.
