Hunt is expected to sign a contract with New Orleans after having visited the team, Dianna Russini of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old veteran's presence would help tide the Saints over while Alvin Kamara is suspended for the first three games of the season, though the team does already have Jamaal Williams and rookie third-round pick Kendre Miller available in the backfield. Hunt had only 123 carries for 468 yards and three scores across 17 games with Cleveland last season, but he has operated as a three-down workhorse at times in his career, so his arrival would give New Orleans one of the league's more crowded backfields once Kamara is reinstated. Per Russini, Hunt's signing will be made official once he passes his physical.

Hunt will visit the Saints this week, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
New Orleans hasn't really been mentioned as a potential landing spot for Hunt, who is making his first reported free-agent visit since his contract expired at the start of the league year. Alvin Kamara is suspended for the first three games of the season, but it nonetheless seems like a suboptimal situation for establishing fantasy value given that the Saints signed Jamaal Williams and drafted Kendre Miller in the third round earlier this offseason. Hunt turned 28 on Sunday, and he'll likely sign somewhere within the next few weeks even if things don't work out on his visit to New Orleans.

Hunt, who returned to Sunday's game after being evaluated for a head injury, finished with four carries for 13 yards and caught three of four targets for 15 yards in a 28-14 loss to Pittsburgh in Week 18.
EDGE Analysis
In terms of combined yards, the 28 were Hunt's most since Week 13. Coming off a three-touch, minus-1 yard performance in Week 17, it seems Hunt was given a chance to showcase his wares in advance of the free-agent market this offseason. The year began as an effort to make Hunt and Nick Chubb work as a tandem backfield, but the plan devolved as Cleveland's season went sideways. A healthy Chubb was expected to cap Hunt's opportunities, but the Deshaun Watson-less Browns fell into a funk, and the Ohio native saw his touches diminish over the second half of the season. Hunt averaged 12 touches per contest over the first eight weeks but dropped to seven over the final nine games. The six-year veteran enters free agency this offseason, and there's a strong chance Hunt hits the open market beginning March 15 at 4:00 PM.

Hunt (head) returned to Sunday's game against the Steelers, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hunt briefly left Sunday's game to get evaluated for a head injury, but he's presumably cleared concussion protocol and returned to the contest. Before leaving, he totaled three rushing attempts for 10 yards and caught all three of his targets for 15 receiving yards.

Hunt is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Steelers due to a head injury, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to exiting the contest, Hunt had carried three times for 10 yards and caught all three of his targets for 15 yards while working behind Cleveland's top back, Nick Chubb.

Hunt had two carries for zero yards and caught his only target for minus-1 yard in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Commanders in Week 17.
EDGE Analysis
This was a season low in touches and yards for Hunt, who played 18 snaps for a 32-percent share in what could have been his penultimate game in a Browns uniform. His contract is up after this season, and the organization appears to have shifted to the future after it was eliminated from the postseason in Week 16. Rookie running back Jerome Ford was given a season-high seven offensive snaps and had five carries for nine yards, a sign that he will become the top backup to Nick Chubb in 2023.

Hunt rushed seven times for eight yards and brought in all three targets for 14 yards in the Browns' 17-10 loss to the Saints on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The weather was conducive to a big workload for the ground attack, but Hunt still logged 17 fewer carries than backfield mate Nick Chubb. The veteran back's carry total was his second highest since Week 5 and his catch tally a high-water mark since Week 8, but Hunt's game-to-game workload is anything but trustworthy heading into a Week 17 road matchup against the Commanders on Sunday, Jan. 1.

Hunt had four carries for 24 yards and caught his lone target for three yards in Saturday's 13-3 win over the Ravens in Week 15.
EDGE Analysis
Hunt's five touches were his second-fewest of the season, and he was held to under 30 combined yards for the third time in the last four games. The 27-year-old back hasn't found the end zone since Week 7.

Hunt rushed four times for six yards and caught two of four targets for another six yards in Sunday's 23-10 loss to Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
The Bengals did a good job of taking away the Browns' running game, and Hunt's 12 combined yards was his second fewest in 13 games this season. He had three red-zone carries and a target, giving him 24 rushes and six targets inside the opponents' 20-yard line on the year, so Nick Chubb's backup could still be a fantasy factor despite his declining workload.

Hunt rushed the ball nine times for 56 yards in Sunday's 27-14 win over the Texans. He added two receptions on three targets for 18 yards.
EDGE Analysis
While a modest total, Hunt's nine carries marked his highest total since Week 8. He made the most of his opportunity by ripping off gains of 15 and 11 yards to also tally his highest yardage total on the ground since Week 2. Hunt has only three total touchdowns on the season, which makes him difficult to trust on a weekly basis combined with his relatively limited involvement in the Browns' offense.
