Jaguars undrafted rookie LB Julian Stanford could be forced to start at strong-side linebacker.
Stanford was signed as an undrafted rookie out of Wagner in May, and the Jags' normal SLB Daryl Smith has missed the first six games of the season with a groin injury. Smith didn't practice on Wednesday and doesn't look set to return for Week 8 against the Packers. Kyle Bosworth has been starting in Smith's place, but Stanford has been a special teams standout and his defensive snaps have increased each week.
