Jones totaled 71 tackles (60 solo), two sacks, and an interception over 16 games during his rookie season.

EDGE Analysis

Jones was relatively quiet in his rookie season, but he still managed to record the third most snaps of all Packers defenders, and he did post a 12-tackle, two-sack game in Week 3. If he plays an even bigger role in his second season, fantasy players in leagues using IDPs should recall he has that type of upside.

Jones (shoulder) practiced without limitations Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Jones was held out for a better half of Week 16's game against the Vikings, but he was still able to compile six tackles (five solo) during 30 defensive snaps. With injuries littering the Packers' secondary, Jones will likely have his number called for another hefty workload Sunday against the Lions.

Jones is questionable to return to Saturday's game against the Vikings with a shoulder injury.

EDGE Analysis

The rookie second-round pick has often played near-full workloads this season as the Packers battled injuries in their secondary. He's showed out at times, too, compiling 62 tackles and two sacks through 14 games. In his place, Jermaine Whitehead slot in at safety while CB Lenzy Pipkins has rotated into dime packages.

Jones had eight tackles (five solo) against the Lions on Monday.

EDGE Analysis

Racking up eight tackles makes Monday's performance Jones' second best of the season. The rookie second-round pick played all 68 defensive snaps Monday because Morgan Burnett (groin) was sitting out, and Burnett won't play against the Bears in Week 10, so similar production should be expected from Jones.

Jones notched three tackles during Thursday's 35-14 victory over the Bears.

EDGE Analysis

Even though Jones wasn't nearly as productive as he was last Sunday against the Bengals, he still gobbled up 51 snaps to show the expanded role he took on last week wasn't a fluke. Look for him to remain a key figure in the Packers' secondary moving forward with the possibility of him reaching IDP relevance before year's end.

Jones injured his back in the first quarter of Thursday's contest against the Bears and is questionable to return, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.

EDGE Analysis

Jones made a splash in his rookie debut in Week 3 against the Bengals, collecting 11 tackles and two sacks. Marwin Evans could pick up some additional snaps as long as Jones is out.

Jones had 12 tackles (11 solo) and two sacks in Sunday's victory over the Bengals.

EDGE Analysis

Jones saw extended playing time for the first time as a professional, and he passed the test with flying colors, leading the Packers in tackles and making plays in all areas of the field. Sunday's effort likely earned him a boost in snaps moving forward, and depending how many he sees, he could have some value in leagues that use IDPs thanks to his ability to make plays from a defensive back position.

Jones (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday, Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

EDGE Analysis

Fortunately, the injury that Jones sustained Tuesday doesn't appear to be serious after he returned to practice following the one-day absence. Unless Jones suffers any setbacks, the Packers' rookie is expected to continue working his way into a bigger role.

Jones injured his ankle during Tuesday's practice session, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

EDGE Analysis

Jones, the Packers second-round pick in this year's draft, is expected to have a large role in the defense as a safety-linebacker hybrid. His ankle injury lands him among the plethora of Green Bay secondary players, including Davon House (hamstring), Damarious Randall (concussion), and Kentrell Brice (finger). Despite the setback, Jones' injury isn't thought to be long term, though it may limit him for a few days.
