Coach Antonio Pierce noted Friday that Jacobs (quadriceps) is viewed as a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Colts, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs, who was listed as a 'DNP' in both Wednesday's walk-through and Thursday's practice, has one more chance to get some on-field work in ahead of Week 17 action, but either way it seems as though he's trending toward heading into the weekend with an official questionable designation. If Jacobs is limited or out versus Indianapolis, Zamir White would once again be in line to see added backfield touches for the Raiders.

Jacobs (quadricep) was listed as a non-participant for Thursday's walkthrough.
EDGE Analysis
Though Tashan Reed of The Athletic relays that there's sentiment within the organization that Jacobs will be able to put an end to his two-game absence this weekend in Indianapolis, the running back hasn't taken any notable steps toward making that a reality. After managing one limited practice session in Week 16, he's now been listed as a non-participant for consecutive walkthroughs to begin Week 17 prep. Jacobs will still have another chance Friday to log some on-field work prior to Sunday's game against the Colts, but if he's unable to make enough progress in his recovery and misses a third straight game this weekend, Zamir White would once again have a clear path to a lead role out of the Raiders' backfield.

Jacobs (quad) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate.
EDGE Analysis
After being deemed a 'DNP' in Wednesday's walk-through, Jacobs now has two more chances to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts. If, however, the running back remains sidelined for a third straight game this weekend, Zamir White would once again be in line to lead the Raiders' backfield in Week 17.

Jacobs (quadricep/illness) is inactive for Monday's game against Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Raiders held out hope Jacobs might be able to play through a right quad injury, but he didn't make quite enough progress to give it a go. He'll miss his second straight game, paving the way for Zamir White to serve as the headliner for the Las Vegas rushing attack once again after he carried 17 times for 69 yards and a touchdown to go with three catches for 16 yards in the Raiders' 63-21 win over the Chargers last week. Jacobs managed just one limited practice this week while nursing an illness in addition to the quad injury, so he'll presumably need to practice fully at some point during the upcoming week to have a chance at suiting up for the Raiders' Dec. 31 game in Indianapolis.

Jacobs (quadricep/illness) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against Kansas City, but he's been described as a "long shot" to play, a source tells Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
EDGE Analysis
Even though the Raiders had a longer turnaround than usual after playing Thursday last week, Rapoport suggests that Jacobs hasn't made enough progress since sitting out Las Vegas' 63-21 trouncing of the Chargers. The running back at least appeared to take a step forward by getting in one limited practice Friday, but he still looks like he'll require more time to recover from his quad issue, in part due to an illness he also picked up a few days ago. Confirmation on Jacobs' status will arrive when Las Vegas releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Monday's 1 p.m. EST kickoff, but assuming he's out for a second straight week, the Raiders will turn to Zamir White as their lead option on the ground. Ameer Abdullah should function as the main receiving back, while Brandon Bolden has almost exclusively been used on special teams in 2023.

Jacobs (quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Monday's game at Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs was unable to practice before sitting out the Raiders' Week 15 win against the Chargers on Thursday Night Football due to a quad injury that he sustained four days earlier versus the Vikings. As Las Vegas reconvened for practice this Thursday, he managed just one limited session (Friday) during Week 16 prep while also dealing with an illness. Interim coach Antonio Pierce implied to Vic Tafur of The Athletic that because Monday's contest is a must-win situation, he expects "all the guys to play," even those that aren't healthy. Consequently, Jacobs may be trending toward a return to action, but if he's unable to do so, Zamir White likely would lead the team's backfield.

Jacobs (quadricep/illness) was a limited participant in practice Friday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
On a positive note, Jacobs was able to practice in some fashion Friday after sitting out Thursday's session and missing the Raiders' 63-21 win over the Chargers in Week 15. However, the running back is now dealing with an illness in addition to the quad injury, which further clouds his availability for Monday's game against the Chiefs. Interim head coach Antonio Pierce said earlier in the week that he believes Jacobs will most likely be ready to go Monday, but Saturday's injury report will provide a more concrete estimation of the running back's chances of playing.

Jacobs (quadricep) was present for practice Friday, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs didn't practice Thursday, but his looming participation in Friday's session bodes well for his chances of suiting up Monday against the Chiefs. The Raiders' second injury report of the week will be released later Friday and will shed light on the extent of Jacobs' practice participation.

Jacobs (quadricep) didn't practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Per Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, interim head coach Antonio Pierce previously expressed optimism that Jacobs could return to action Monday against the Chiefs, noting that he thought the running back was close to playing in the Raiders' 63-21 win over the Chargers in Week 15. Still, with Jacobs not practicing Thursday, his status will need to be closely monitored as the week progresses. If Jacobs remains sidelined for a second straight game, second-year player Zamir White would likely serve as the Raiders' top option on the ground.

Jacobs (quadriceps) is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs officially was listed as questionable for the contest after being estimated as a non-participant in each of the Raiders' walkthroughs Monday through Wednesday, and on a short week, he'll sit this one out and target a potential return to action Monday, Dec. 25 against the Chiefs. In Jacobs' absence Thursday, look for 2022 fourth-rounder Zamir White to lead the Raiders' Week 15 backfield, with Ameer Abdullah also in the mix for added touches, particularly in passing situations.
