Allen (shoulder) is active Sunday against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Allen was forced out of the team's Week 2 loss to Kansas City and was questionable throughout the week for Sunday's contest against Houston. However, after logging a limited practice Friday, the team's 2019 first-round selection will play, which is good news for the Jacksonville defense.

Allen (shoulder) was a limited participant at practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus Houston, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being forced out of Week 2 versus Kansas City with a sprained shoulder, Allen seems truly questionable for Week 3. If he can't go, K'Lavon Chaisson figures to see more opportunities on the edge.

Allen is considered day-to-day due to a shoulder sprain suffered in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
That's good news for the Jaguars and Allen, who is one of the team's most productive players on defense. However, his status during practice will be worth monitoring in the days ahead leading up to the team's Week 3 matchup with the Texans.

Allen exited Sunday's game against the Chiefs early with a shoulder injury, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen recorded one tackle before suffering the injury. His exit will leave the team down one of its starting outside linebackers, while also opening up extra work for Shaquille Quarterman.

Allen recorded 10 tackles and three sacks in Sunday's 31-21 win at the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Allen got a blazing start Sunday to what he hopes will be the second double-digit sack season of his career. Some of his sack production could be chalked up to inexperience from rookie Indianapolis quarterback Anthony Richardson, who took four total sacks in Week 1, but Allen and his counterpart Travon Walker are obviously going to be a force to be reckoned with in 2023.

Allen (undisclosed) was not on Jacksonville's injury report Wednesday ahead of Sunday's game at Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
Allen temporarily stepped away from practice late in August, but it looks like he's back in time to start in Week 1 at the Colts. The 2019 first-rounder has not posted double-digit sack totals since his rookie season despite playing a full 17 games last year, so there's heavy pressure to perform as he enters a contract season.

Allen (undisclosed) was excused from practice Monday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen is expected to return later in the week but it's not clear why he needed to step away. However, once he is able to he'll return to the team. The Kentucky product should be one of the team's starters at outside linebacker once again this season.

Allen recorded six tackles (three solo), including one sack, and a forced fumble during Sunday's 31-3 win against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Allen logged his third sack in the last four weeks, forcing a fumble as he brought down Houston signal-caller Davis Mills early in the second quarter. This also marked the Jaguars' only takeaway in this massive blowout. Allen also paced Jacksonville with 74 percent of defensive snaps played since the team benched its starters early in the second half. Allen has now accumulated six sacks over 16 games this season, and he should have a good chance to get after Titans quarterback Joshua Dobbs in Week 18, as Tennessee has allowed the seventh-most sacks in the league with 45.

Allen finished Sunday's Week 10 loss to the Chiefs with seven tackles (four solo).
EDGE Analysis
Allen and Foyesade Oluokun each recorded seven stops in the contest to tie for the team lead. Allen tied his season-high mark in the category, as he also tallied seven tackles against the Eagles in Week 4. He has only three sacks this season, so he's currently on pace to finish with fewer than the 7.5 sacks he recorded last year.

Allen recorded seven tackles (three solo) including one sack during Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Allen notched his third sack and his highest number of tackles this season in Week 4. The linebacker also lined up on all but eight of the Jaguars' 82 defensive snaps Sunday, marking his fourth straight game playing at least 80 percent of the team's defensive snaps.
