Bynes inked a one-year contract with the Bengals on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old spent the past season with the Ravens, producing 46 tackles (23 solo), one sack, four defended passes and two interceptions across 12 regular-season games. Although Bynes logged a rotational role with the Ravens, he's expected to compete with Hardy Nickerson for the starting middle linebacker spot in 2020 for the Bengals.

Bynes recorded 46 tackles (23 solo), one sack, four defended passes and two interceptions across 12 regular-season games with the Ravens in 2019.
EDGE Analysis
Bynes also appeared in Baltimore's only playoff contest, during which he made six stops (two solo). The 30-year-old signed with the Ravens in early October, and he averaged 3.8 stops per game through the remainder of the regular season while playing a rotational role. Bynes is set to become an unrestricted free agent in March.

Bynes collected two tackles (one solo) as well as an interception in Sunday's 41-7 win over the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Bynes' second interception of the season came in the latter stages of the third quarter, picking off a pass over the middle intended for Texans' tailback Carlos Hyde. The pick was a boost to Bynes' fantasy box score, but it did little to decide the outcome of Sunday's lopsided win.

Bynes tallied nine tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 49-13 win over the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Bynes logged 46 of a possible 75 defensive snaps (61 percent), out-snapping both Patrick Onwuasor and Chris Board. It appears the 30-year-old has taken the starting inside linebacker role from Board, as Bynes has averaged 5.4 stops per game.

Bynes signed with the Ravens on Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bynes spent three seasons with the Ravens earlier in his career, but he has spent the last five years between the Lions and the Cardinals. The Ravens haven't found the right mix at linebacker yet, so they're hoping Bynes' veteran presence could be the missing piece.

The Cardinals released Bynes (thumb) on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to injuring his thumb Week 12, Bynes was heavily-utilized during Steve Wilks' one season as the coach in Arizona, playing every defensive snap from Week 3 through the fateful season-ending issue. Overall, he racked up 75 tackles and two sacks in 11 games, but the output wasn't enough to keep him around as the Cardinals switch back to a 3-4 alignment under new defensive coordinator Vance Joseph.

Bynes (thumb) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bynes suffered a thumb injury during Sunday's 45-10 loss to the Chargers, and will spend the remainder of the 2018 season on injured reserve. The 29-year-old was one of the Cardinals' most consistent defensive pieces, so his absence is likely to substantially hurt the team's defense. Gerald Hodges will serve as Arizona's starting middle linebacker going forward.

Bynes is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Chargers due to a thumb injury, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bynes exited the Week 12 tilt against the Chargers during the second quarter. With Deone Bucannon (chest) inactive, the linebacker position could prove an area of weakness for the Cardinals if Bynes is unable to retake the field Sunday.

Bynes logged three tackles (two solo), one sack and one pass defended during Sunday's 26-14 loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Bynes posted his second sack of the season during a Week 10 loss to the Chiefs, and played a key role in holding Kansas City's offense to their lowest point total of the season. The starting linebacker could be in line for another strong defensive showing against the Raiders in Week 11.

Bynes (wrist) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Minnesota, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After practicing on a limited basis in the first two sessions of the week, Bynes was a full participant Friday. With his health clear, he'll seek out double-digit tackles for the fourth time in six outings to start the season.
