Cowboys backup NT Josh Brent underwent post-season knee surgery. Brent ended up missing four games with a sprained MCL and kneecap injury. There's no word on the severity of the procedure, though Jay Ratliff's backup will likely be fine for training camp.

Cowboys declared NT J. Brent, OG D. Dockery, WR Andre Holmes, WR Dwayne Harris, DB Mana Silva, OG David Arkin, and OG Daniel Loper inactive for Week 15 against the Buccaneers. DeMarcus Ware (neck), Laurent Robinson (shoulder) and Michael Jenkins (shoulder) are all active after being listed as questionable. Dockery has quickly fallen out of favor in Dallas since going down with an MCL sprain earlier this year. Holmes plays exclusively on special teams and is dealing with a hamstring injury.
