Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Josh Allen (knee), who signed his four-year rookie deal on Thursday, is out of organized team activities on Thursday with a knee contusion and will work on the side with the training staff. He won't practice on Friday either, but head coach Doug Marrone said the knee isn't expected to be a big problem moving forward. The No. 7 overall pick suffered the bruised right knee in practice on Tuesday and is being held out as a precaution. Allen is a long, athletic edg[...]

Rookie Tight Ends In The Best Fantasy Situations rotoballer.com Sun 5/5/19 9:29 AM

The 2019 NFL draft is complete and it's time to start prepping for fantasy football. Today, we're talking about tight ends that could make an impact in the rookie season. The most difficult part of this will be figuring out which tight ends can avoid the rookie wall that most rookie tight ends seem to hit when they jump to the NFL.Evan Engram was a great player during his first year in the league, but that was more of an exception to the rule than an indication that the NFL is becoming easier fo[...]

They Took Who??? Teams That Confused Us by Drafting the Wrong Player rotoballer.com Sun 5/5/19 9:22 AM

Every year, the NFL Draft treats viewers to surprises. Often, those surprises are...not necessarily good ones. Teams make mistakes, or they make non-mistakes that appear to be mistakes at first glance, and those mistakes can have serious fantasy football ramifications.Last year, I wrote this column and pegged the following players as wrong choices: Josh Allen, Hayden Hurst, Rashaad Penny, Nick Chubb, Kerryon Johnson, Dallas Goedert, D.J. Chark, and Mark Andrews. I'll take the loss on the running[...]

Jaguars Go With Josh Allen At No. 7 Overall rotoballer.com Thu 4/25/19 9:10 PM

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Kentucky edge rusher Josh Allen with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft. Allen was considered the best edge rusher in this draft, so the Jags could have a very nice steal on their hands with this pick. He had 17 sacks in his final season in college and can bring pressure from the inside and the outside. Allen can be elite in the NFL and will give Jacksonville a very potent pass rush overall.

Raiders Take Clelin Ferrell At No. 4 Overall rotoballer.com Thu 4/25/19 8:51 PM

The Oakland Raiders selected Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft. Ferrell clearly has first-round talent, and he's a traditional 3-4 defensive end that should fit well in Oakland's defensive system. Some thought that Josh Allen was the best pure edge rusher in this draft, but Ferrell isn't that far behind. Oakland had a big need at pass rusher after trading Khalil Mack for a first-round pick before last season. Ferrell should help the Raiders be[...]
