Randle -- who did not practice Wednesday due to a strained oblique -- is reportedly facing discipline for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per the report, in a best-case scenario, Randle would only be fined, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport suggests that the running back faces a one or two game suspension stemming from Randle's February arrest in Wichita, Kansas. Rapoport further notes that Randle's reported violation of the league's personal conduct policy, is "firearm and conduct related."

Randle left the Cowboys' practice facility Wednesday afternoon after being informed of his removal from the starting lineup, but he is expected to return to the team Thursday, DallasNews.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Randle was clearly not pleased with the Cowboys' decision to replace him in the starting lineup with Darren McFadden, and left the team following Wednesday's practice. Later in the evening Randle was able to speak with Cowboys coaches, who convinced him to return to the team Thursday. While Randle will be back with the team, it remains to be seen if he will practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday's session due to the oblique injury he suffered last week. Moving forward, he was already looking at a reduced role behind McFadden, and his playing time could be further affected by his injury and Wednesday's unexpected departure from the team facility.

Randle (oblique) didn't practice Wednesday, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
During Sunday's loss at the Giants, Randle came down with what was initially termed a strained lower back, but the Cowboys diagnosed the running back with an oblique in the aftermath of the game. Leaving the game early allowed reserve Darren McFadden to get a head of steam, and when the play clock hit zeroes, he had accrued 29 carries for 152 yards. Head coach Jason Garrett stated Wednesday that McFadden has earned the right to start Sunday against the Seahawks, no matter the health of Randle. In the midst of a four-game losing streak, the Cowboys haven't been opposed to making sweeping changes from week-to-week, but Randle's relevance is clearly on the downswing at the moment.

Randle (back) is carrying an oblique injury that could sideline him going forward, NFL Network's Rand Getlin reports.
EDGE Analysis
Randle was forced to exit Sunday's loss to the Giants after injuring his back, which reportedly relates to a prior oblique injury from the preseason. Given that situation, it's possible Randle may miss some time due to the injury, but further evaluation on Monday should help sort out his availability.

Randle (back) is doubtful to return to Sunday's game at the Giants, Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports.
EDGE Analysis
Upon his removal, Randle was diagnosed with a lower back strain, but his return to action was deemed probable. Backing up that sentiment was his ability to ride an exercise bike and eventually hold his helmet again on the sideline. However, he'll almost certainly log no more snaps Sunday, as Darren McFadden and Christine Michael handle the bulk of the RB workload.

Randle suffered a lower back strain Sunday at the Giants but is probable to return, Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports.
EDGE Analysis
After he initially came off the field, Randle was seen riding an exercise bike, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN. An evaluation eventually revealed the diagnosis, and while he appears likely to return, Randle wasn't seen with his helmet on the bench. As long as he's sidelined, Darren McFadden will likely head the backfield, with Christine Michael also factoring into the carry count.

Randle will likely be the Cowboys' starting running back Sunday at the Giants, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Heading into the Cowboys' Week 6 bye, there were rumblings that every position would be reconsidered, including a change from Randle to Christine Michael. While head coach Jason Garrett decided to entrust the offense in Matt Cassel rather than Brandon Weeden, Randle will stay on as the No. 1 running back Sunday. Randle has received between 11 and 18 carries per game this season, which can be expected to hold steady as long as he remains the starter.

Christine Michael could get the start at running back in Week 7 rather than Randle, ESPN Dallas reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Cowboys are already switching quarterbacks during their bye week, and are apparently considering other major changes to the offense as well as they prepare to face the Giants next weekend. Randle has had a few big runs over the first five games but also plenty of negative yardage, and if he does give way to Michael his touches could dry up almost completely. The backfield picture should become clearer over the course of the week, but make sure you have Michael or another option stashed if you've been relying on Randle up to now.

Randle ran the ball 15 times for 60 yards and caught all four of his targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 30-6 loss to New England.
EDGE Analysis
Randle had disappeared in the second half of the previous two games, due to ball security issues, but that was not the case Sunday, as he did not fumble. The entire offense struggled, however, so Randle wasn't really able to get on track. Meanwhile, Darren McFadden had little impact as a runner, but caught 9-of-10 targets for 62 yards. Christine Michael ran just one time for six yards Sunday, but considering Dallas' lack of offensive playmakers, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him get more work soon. The Cowboys have a bye in Week 6, so keep Randle on your bench next week.

Randle did not see a snap in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Saints after nearly fumbling at the goal line for the second consecutive week, the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being explicitly told not to try and jump over the pile and stretch the ball into the end zone on goal line carries, Randle did exactly that Sunday on a play that was initially ruled a fumble but was overturned on replay to award him the touchdown. Lance Dunbar's season-ending injury will probably keep him in the backfield mix, but with Christine Michael now being worked in as well, Randle's hold on the starting job appears to be slipping.
