Todman was listed as No. 3 at running back on the Colts' depth chart behind starter Frank Gore and Robert Turbin, the Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
The battle for the backup role behind Frank Gore is wide open this summer as rookie Josh Ferguson will also be in the mix. Todman had just 20 carries last year between the regular season and playoffs and would appear to have the least upside of the group. However, any backup could have upside if a 33-year old Frank Gore gets hurt as Indy's offense could be dynamic.

Todman signed with the Colts on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Todman was released by the Panthers following the preseason last year, but ultimately signed with the Steelers and went on to play 11 games. While Todman managed just four carries for 22 yards in Pittsburgh, he adds depth to the Colts' backfield ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Todman ran for six yards on five carries in Pittsburgh's loss to Denver on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After rushing for 65 yards on 11 carries against Cincinnati last week, Todman reverted to his usual, ineffective self, with five of his six yards coming on one run. During the regular season, Todman carried the ball just four times for 22 yards, and returned one kick for another 22 yards. With stud running backs Le'Veon Bell and DeAngelo Williams ahead of him on the depth chart, Todman saw just 13 offensive snaps all season. An unrestricted free agent, he offers no fantasy value in his current role with the Steelers.

Todman had 11 carries for a team high 65 yards with a fumble Saturday in the Steelers' win over the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
After three seasons in Jacksonville, Todman finally got to see playoff action, making the most the opportunity. Considering he had just four rushing attempts in the regular season, much of how Todman is used in Pittsburgh's Divisional playoff game against Denver depends on the health of DeAngelo Williams (ankle), who was inactive this Week.

Todman is listed as active Saturday versus the Bengals, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Steelers have benefited from incredible efficiency out of their No. 1 running back, whether it was Le'Veon Bell (knee) or DeAngelo Williams. The season finale wasn't kind to Williams, though, as he came down with a high ankle sprain that will keep the veteran out of the postseason opener. Although Fitzgerald Toussaint is expected to start Saturday, Todman should earn his first offensive snap since Week 12 at Seattle.

Todman is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
The Steelers will only have two running backs active for Sunday's game, as fullback Will Johnson is capable of filling in if needed. Todman was active for each of Pittsburgh's first 11 games, yet he still only has four touches all season.

Todman totaled eight yards on two carries in the Steelers' win over the Browns on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Todman only saw touches on Pittsburgh's final drive of the game. He now has four carriers on the season and continues to have no fantasy value.

Todman ran once for three yards in the Steelers' 38-35 win against the Raiders on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The loss of Le'Veon Bell (knee) moved all running backs up a notch on the depth chart, with Todman slotting in behind starter DeAngelo Williams. As a result, Todman got one carry, and now has two rushes for 14 yards on the season. Just as Williams fantasy value was predicated on the health of Bell, Todman would seem to only has value if Williams gets hurt.

Head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Todman will be the Steelers' No. 2 running back behind DeAngelo Williams in Sunday's game against the Raiders, Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Todman has far more experience than fellow running backs Dri Archer and Isaiah Pead, so he will slot in as the backup behind Williams, who will take over as the starter with LeVeon Bell (knee) out for the season. Todman is not much of a threat to Williams' workload, but he figures to see a few snaps each game in an effort to keep the veteran Williams healthy and fresh the rest of the way.

With Le'Veon Bell having suffered a season-ending knee injury, Todman, Dri Archer and newcomer Isaiah Pead slot in as the Steelers' depth options behind DeAngelo Williams, who is slated to fill in for Bell going forward.
EDGE Analysis
Todman has just one carry this season, so there's no need to rush to the waiver wire here, but it will be worth noting how the team's backfield snaps are divided up in Week 9's game against the Raiders, with an eye toward identifying the team's likely preferred option in the event of an injury to Williams.
