Arcega Whiteside was placed on injured reserve Monday and is scheduled to undergo finger surgery, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arcega-Whiteside played 40 offensive snaps during Saturday's loss to the Cowboys and failed to catch any of his three targets. He'll be eligible to be activated for the Super Bowl but is unlikely to be ready to play that quickly given he'll be recovering from surgery. The 25-year-old caught two of five targets for 36 yards in 16 games during the 2021 campaign.

Arcega-Whiteside played 14 offensive snaps in Sunday's 33-18 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Arcega-Whiteside had recorded a catch in each of the last two games, but he wasn't targeted in Sunday's Week 13 matchup. The 2019 second-rounder has had a minimal role in Philadelphia's offense this year and has hauled in both of his targets for 36 yards across the first 12 games of the season.

Arcega-Whiteside played 14 snaps in Sunday's 13-7 loss to the Giants, catching his lone target for 13 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Arcega-Whiteside was a distant fourth on the receiver depth chart in the game, although his snap count on offense has trended into double-digits in two straight weeks. With Jalen Reagor dropping key passes in the defeat and his star seemingly fading fast, the 2019 second-round pick may start to see more chances sooner rather than later.

Arcega-Whiteside (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation heading into Sunday's contest against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Arcega-Whiteside missed one game due to the ankle injury, but he will return to action in Week 10. The 2019 second-round wideout has played less than 10 offensive snaps in every game since Week 2 and hasn't caught a single pass all season.

Arcega-Whiteside (ankle) will miss the Eagles' Week 9 contest against the Chargers, Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arcega-Whiteside suffered an ankle injury in the Eagles' win over the Lions in Week 8. The receiver has been unable to practice at all since the injury. Expect Quez Watkins and Greg Ward to see important roles Sunday against the Chargers. Arcega-Whiteside's next chance to return to the field will be in Week 10 against the Broncos.

Arcega-Whiteside (ankle) did not practice Thursday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arcega-Whiteside missed practice Wednesday as well after being injured in the Eagles' Week 8 win over the Lions. Missing practice on Thursday is usually not a good sign for Sunday's. Arcega-Whiteside is more of a contributor on special teams then the offense, and with Jalen Reagor (ankle) also banged up the depth of the Eagles wide receiver group could be tested in Week 9 against the Chargers.

Arcega-Whiteside (ankle) missed the Eagles' practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Arcega-Whiteside suffered an ankle injury in the Eagles' Week 8 win over the Lions. The receiver was unable to practice Wednesday, which isn't a good sign for Philadelphia's receiving core as Jalen Reagor is also dealing with an ankle injury. Expect Quez Watkins and Greg Ward to see large roles Sunday against the Chargers if Arcega-Whiteside is unable to suit up for Week 9 action.

Arcega-Whiteside (ankle) is questionable to return Sunday against Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
The potential loss of Arcega-Whiteside will test the team's depth at the position, as Jalen Reagor (ankle) has been downgraded to out. Quez Watkins and Greg Ward are expected to see an uptick in snaps as a result.

Arcega-Whiteside (back) is active for Sunday's matchup with the Lions, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arcega-Whiteside injured his back making a special-teams tackle and had to leave the Eagles' Week 7 matchup with the Raiders early, but he will return to action in Week 8. However, the 2019 second-round pick is unlikely to be involved in the Eagles' offensive offense game plan, as he's yet to have a pass thrown his way this season.

Arcega-Whiteside (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions, Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arcega-Whiteside suffered the back injury while making a special teams tackle in Week 7 against the Raiders. Even if he plays, Philadelphia's disappointing 2019 second-round pick is unlikely to have much of a role on offense, as he's yet to have a pass thrown his way this season and has just 14 catches in his 31-game career.
