Jacobs (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs exited in the second half of Saturday's game against Denver due to a hamstring injury and didn't return. The severity of the issue is unclear, but his status for Sunday's matchup against the Vikings is in doubt given his inability to practice Wednesday. Prior to his exit Saturday, it appeared Jacobs had lost his starting role, as all 13 of his snaps were on special teams. Khalil Dorsey started in Jacobs' place Saturday and performed well, so he is likely to continue working in that role regardless of Jacobs' status for Week 16.

Jacobs is questionable to return to Saturday's game against the Broncos due to a hamstring injury.
EDGE Analysis

Jacobs recorded seven tackles (all solo), including one for loss, in Thursday's Week 12 loss to Green Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs finished second on Detroit in tackles, one behind rookie Brian Branch. Jacobs' seven stops were his most since he tallied seven against the Falcons in Week 3. He's been a full-time starter throughout the campaign and has already set career-high marks with 47 tackles (43 solo) and three interceptions through 10 games.

Jacobs (knee) was a full participant at practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
After sitting out in Week 7 at Baltimore, Jacobs appears to be on track to suit up Monday versus Las Vegas. He should immediately step back in as one of Detroit's top cover corners opposite Cameron Sutton.

Jacobs (knee) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs will miss his first game of the season due to a knee injury. He was a limited participant at each practice during Week 7 prep, so there's a good chance he's facing just a one-game absence. In his stead, Brian Branch, Chase Lucas and Khalil Dorsey are candidates for increased snaps opposite Cameron Sutton.

Jacobs is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens due to a knee injury.
EDGE Analysis
It is unclear when Jacobs picked up the knee issue, but his status for Week 7 is up in the air as a result. If he does not get the green light, Chase Lucas and Brian Branch would be prime candidates to fill in opposite Cameron Sutton at corner. Still, more clarity on Jacobs' status is unlikely to come until closer to kickoff.

Jacobs finished Sunday's 42-24 win against the Panthers with four tackles (four solo), a pass deflection and an interception.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs was one two Detroit defenders to record an interception during Sunday's win and has now compiled three over the past two games. The 26-year-old is on pace for the best season of his career as he's already set a new personal best for interceptions and is on track to do so for tackles as well.

Jacobs had five solo tackles and four passes defensed, including two interceptions, in Thursday's 34-20 win over Green Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs came into Thursday's game with one career interception in 28 NFL games, but he managed to pick off Jordan Love twice. The cornerback returned the first interception 20 yards to Green Bay's seven-yard line in the second quarter, and Detroit punched in a touchdown two plays later to take a commanding 24-3 lead. After his first interception led to points, the second prevented the Packers from scoring, as Jacobs notched the interception on Detroit's four-yard line and returned it 14 yards in the fourth quarter.

Jacobs recorded seven solo tackles during Sunday's 20-6 win over Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Again logging almost every defensive snap while starting opposite Cameron Sutton, Jacobs bounced back from a forgettable (but productive) Week 2 performance and now ranks sixth among cornerbacks in tackles through three games. While Jacobs could see a reduction in snaps once Emmanuel Moseley (knee) is up to speed, Jacobs should receive all of the playing time he can handle in the meantime.

Jacobs appears to be competing with Emmanuel Moseley (knee) for the starting boundary cornerback job opposite Cameron Sutton, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Playing his way into a full-time role over the past two years, Jacobs has made a big name for himself in Detroit. The undrafted player has significantly outperformed 2020 third overall pick Jeff Okudah, who's now in Atlanta. While Sutton's three-year, $33 million contract probably locks him into the No. 1 spot on the depth chart, Jacobs seems to have a good shot at stopping Moseley from stealing his starting job, especially with his counterpart coming off a torn ACL.
