WR FA
Smith (shoulder) is active Week 16 against Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Smith was able to participate in practice all week on a limited basis despite a shoulder injury sustained in Week 15, so he was likely leaning more on the "probable" side. Nonetheless, Smith likely isn't a fantasy option, as the last time he secured more than one catch was back in Week 8. In the Week 15 contest where Smith suffered the injury, he had seen 10 special teams snaps and zero on offense prior to exiting.

WR FA
Smith (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old sustained the injury during last week's win over the Rams, and his status remains in doubt for Sunday's contest. Smith was able to practice as a limited participant all week, so he should have a decent chance of suiting up this weekend.

Jeff Smith
WR FA
Smith (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Smith suffered the shoulder injury during the second half of Sunday's win against the Rams and was unable to return to the contest. The limited practice Wednesday gives him a shot to suit up in Sunday's clash with Cleveland, though much will depend on his participation level the remainder of the practice week. Smith has a combined three catches on four targets over his last five games, so he isn't a critical component in the team's passing attack.

Jeff Smith
WR FA
Smith (shoulder) is considered questionable to return to Sunday's matchup against the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
After collecting a reception in three consecutive appearances between Weeks 11 and 14, the Boston College product remained without a reception upon his second-half exit. Given that Jamison Crowder, Breshad Perriman, Denzel Mims and Braxton Berrios were all active for the cross-conference showdown, Smith found himself relegated to the No. 5 slot in the WR pecking order.

Jeff Smith
WR FA
Smith caught one of two targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 40-3 loss to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Smith saw extra work on the outside with Denzel Mims (personal) unavailable but didn't do much with the opportunity. He hasn't caught multiple passes in a game since Week 8 and is unlikely to reverse that trend in Week 15 against the Rams.

Jeff Smith
WR FA
Smith caught his only targets for seven yards in Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Smith has caught more than one pass only three times this season and has failed to do so since Week 8. He'll likely remain an afterthought in New York's underwhelming passing game against the Raiders in Week 13.

Jeff Smith
WR FA
Smith caught his lone target for five yards in Sunday's 34-28 loss to the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Smith has been a non-factor since the rest of New York's receiving corps healed up. He has topped 30 yards only once all season and will continue to work in a depth role against the Dolphins in Week 12.
Jeff Smith WR FA Tue 11/10/20 11:49 AM
Jeff Smith
WR FA
Smith wasn't targeted in Monday's 30-27 loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Smith was relegated to the No. 5 wide receiver role with all three of Denzel Mims, Breshad Perriman and Jamison Crowder healthy for the first time. He played just two offensive snaps as a result and likely will remain a nonfactor moving forward barring further injuries up the depth chart.

Jeff Smith
WR FA
Smith caught three of eight targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 35-9 loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Smith's starting on the outside with the Jets beat up at wide receiver, but he hasn't demonstrated the skills necessary to make the most of these opportunities. Despite being targeted at least eight times on three different occasions this season, Smith has topped 30 yards only once. Even if New York doesn't get any of its injured receivers back against New England in Week 9, Smith's impact figures to remain minimal.
Jeff Smith WR FA Sun 10/25/20 8:32 PM
Jeff Smith
WR FA
Smith failed to catch his lone target in Sunday's 18-10 loss to the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Smith didn't get much attention from starting quarterback Sam Darnold, who threw for just 120 yards in his return from a shoulder injury. Fellow wide receiver Breshad Perriman exited with a possible concussion, so Smith could have a path to more playing time in Week 8 against the Chiefs, but he's unlikely to turn that potential increase in snaps into much production based on what we've seen from the Jets so far.
