Veldheer signed with the Colts' practice squad Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Veldheer retired in 2021 after being suspended for six games for violating the league's policy against performance-enhancing substances. The 36-year-old has appeared in 121 games in his career over 11 seasons, last suiting up for the Colts in 2020.

Veldheer was reinstated from a six-game suspension Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Veldheer was suspended after testing positive for a banned substance in March. At the time, he announced he was retiring from the NFL, though it's unclear if that remains his plan now that he has been reinstated.

Veldheer was suspended for the first six games of the 2021 season Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The specifics of the suspension remain unclear, but this news certainly won't help Veldheer's chances to sign with a team this offseason. Veldheer spent time with both Indianapolis and Green Bay last season, and nearly became the first player to start for two teams in the same postseason in 2020.

Coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that Veldheer (illness) remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Veldheer found himself placed on the COVID-19 list almost immediately after linking up with the Packers on Jan. 11, and he has yet to suit up for any sort of action with the team. The veteran lineman will need to gain full clearance before attending practice or taking the field, making his availability for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Buccaneers murky at best.

Veldheer was placed on the Packers' reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Packers signed Veldheer on Monday, and now that the veteran has found himself on the reserve/COVID-19 list, it is unclear whether or not he'll be able to be called upon during Saturday's NFC divisional-round game against the Rams. While it is unknown if Veldheer contracted the virus, he'll aim to return to the active roster as quickly as he can.

Veldheer signed with the Packers on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
After spending time with the Colts' practice squad, Veldheer will head to Green Bay, where he's previously spent time. The veteran will presumably be available to handle tackle duties if called upon during Saturday's NFC divisional-round matchup against the Rams.

The Colts signed Veldheer to the practice squad Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Veldheer announced his decision to retire back in September, but the Colts have managed to convince him to return to action for a possible playoff run. The veteran has previously played for the Cardinals, Raiders, Broncos and Packers, so if he ends up suiting up for the Colts it will represent the fifth team of his career.

Veldeer is retiring from professional football, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Cowboys reportedly put forth a $2.5 million offer for the veteran tackle, but he instead decided to hang up his cleats. Veldheer appeared in 120 games (113 starts) over his 10-year career with the Cardinals, Raiders, Broncos and Packers.

Veldheer was activated to the 53-man roster from the exempt/commissioner permission list Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Veldheer was signed by the Packers in late November after being released off the Patriots' reserve/retired list, but the team had a roster exemption so he wasn't immediately added to the 53-man roster. The 32-year-old announced his retirement in May but will now continue his career as a reserve tackle in Green Bay.

Veldheer signed a contract with Green Bay on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old stayed in shape following his release from New England and will serve as insurance following the injury to Bryan Bulaga (knee).
