Harrison (knee) is officially inactive for Sunday's game at Cincinnati. Arthur Moats should see more playing time at the right outside linebacker spot in Harrison's absence.

Harrison (knee) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Bengals, according to Dale Lolley of the Observer-Reporter. Harrison, who recorded seven tackles in Week 13, has carved out some deep league utility in recent weeks, but the doubtful designation eliminates him from the IDP equation this weekend.

Harrison collected secen tackles (fours solo) including two sacks in Pittsburgh's 43-23 win over Baltimore on Sunday. Harrison now leads the team with four sacks despite only playing in six games this season. He deserves serious fantasy consideration in IDP formats for Week 10 against a Jets offense that has significant quarterback issues and has allowed 25 sacks, which is fifth worst in the league.

Harrison had just one tackle (solo) for a sack in Pittsburgh's 54-31 win over the Colts on Sunday. This was Harrison's first sack of the season since coming out of retirement a few weeks ago. he'll try to add to his franchise-leading 65 sacks in Week 9 against the Ravens, who have yeilded just nine sacks this season.

Harrison recorded four tackles (three solo) against Cleveland on Sunday. The tackles were the first of the season for Harrison, who came out of retirement and rejoined the Steelers three weeks ago. The defense, which has struggled to pressure opposing quarterbacks and to force turnovers, will be tested in Week 7 when they host Houston on Monday night.

Harrison's role in the Steelers' defense for their Week 4 game against Tampa Bay has yet to be determined, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. "I've been pleased with what I've seen," said defefensive coordinator Dick LeBeau. "We'll have to keep our eye on him, but it's been good seeing him out there." Much has been made about Harrison's level of aerobic conditioning, and training on your own is a far cry from an NFL training camp. Then there's the issue of age, as Harrison turned 36 in the off-season. Despite all the injuries to the Pittsburgh defensive unit, fantasy owners should temper their expectations of Harrison in terms of fantasy production.

Harrison has un-retired and signed with the Steelers as expected on Tuesday, ESPN.com reports. According to Coach Mike Tomlin, the re-signing was "a simple and easy decision for us. We know James. James knows us." The move became necessary after Pittsburgh placed second-year outside linebacker Jarvis Jones (wrist) on the injured reserve/designated for return list on Monday. Harrison played in 15 games for the Bengals last season, starting 10 of them, recording 30 tackles and two sacks. He is second on the Steelers' all-time sacks list with 64, and will have an opportunity to add to that total in Week 4 against Tampa Bay.

Harrison is expected to sign with the Steelers this week, NFL.com reports. Harrison announced his retirement a month ago, but with the Steelers in dire need of help at linebacker, the 36-year-old will return to the team for which he played nine NFL seasons. Pittsburgh lost Ryan Shazier (knee) and Jarvis Jones (wrist) recently, and has few experienced players to fill the void. While Harrison no longer has elite explosion, he's familiar with defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau's system and can still defend the run. Assuming the signing goes through, Harrison will likely compete with Arthur Moats for playing time.

Harrison announced his retirement via facebook on Saturday, ESPN.com reports. "My love for my family and the need to be there for them outweighs my desire to play the game," posted Harrison. "I have missed too many experiences with them because I devoted SO much time to my career. My love for the game isn't strong enough to make up for missing one more birthday or first day of school." An undrafted free agent out of Kent State, Harrison played 10 seasons with Pittsburgh before joining Cincinnati last year. Despite a drop-off in performance in recent years, Harrison amassed an impressive 66 sacks and 29 forced fumbles during his career. It would come as no surprise if the five-time Pro Bowl linebacker and former NFL Defensive Player of the Year signed a one-day contract with Pittsburgh so that he may officially retire as a member of Steeler Nation.

Harrison is tentatively scheduled to take a physical for the Cardinals on Friday, Kent Somers of AZCentral.com reports. This would certainly seem to suggest Harrison's visit with the Cardinals went well, though the report notes that it's not a foregone conclusion that a deal gets done. In his age-35 season, Harrison racked up just 16 tackles (14 solo) and two sacks in 15 games with the Bengals, but the fit with Arizona would make sense, as he's familiar with coach Bruce Arians and would help offset the losses of Daryl Washington (suspension) and Darnell Dockett (knee).
