Rodgers (foot) is active for Sunday's Week 13 tilt versus the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
He'll thus be available to take some of the load off starter Doug Martin, in what will be his first action since Week 8. While Martin is still expected to get the majority of touches, Rodgers could conceivably see a bit more work than undrafted rookie Peyton Barber was given as the former's primary backup while Rodgers has been sidelined.

Rodgers (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers was a full participant throughout practice this week, leading coach Dirk Koetter to say Friday that it's a "fair deduction" that the tailback will make his first appearance since Week 8 this Sunday. Rodgers' status will of course need to be confirmed prior to Tampa Bay's 4:25 ET kickoff, but it appears the Buccaneers will have him available to serve as Doug Martin's primary backup this weekend.

Buccaneers coach Dirk Koetter says it's a "fair deduction" that Rodgers will play Sunday against the Chargers, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers is returning from a foot injury that has sidelined him since Week 8, and has been a full participant in practice this week. While that has increased the likelihood of him being available over the course of this week, Tampa Bay's release of fellow running back Mike James on Tuesday hinted toward his return all along. Koetter seemingly cemented that expectation Friday, so look for Rodgers to back up Doug Martin versus San Diego.

Rodgers (foot) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Buccaneers have had the services of Doug Martin for three consecutive games, and the backfield will now have a competent complement to him in the form of Rodgers, whose foot sprain forced four DNPs in a row. The first glimmer of hope for Rodgers' return occurred last Friday, but an uninhibited practice translated to a questionable designation and inactive status Sunday against the Seahawks. There's no such worry this time around, allowing Rodgers to give Martin a breather when he needs one in Week 13.

Rodgers (foot) appears to have a strong chance of returning on Sunday versus the Chargers based on the Bucs' release of Mike James on Tuesday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Auman is basically reading the tea leaves with his tweet, but the conclusion certainly seems reasonable. Rodgers had put in an unrestricted practice session last Friday, so his arrow has been trending upward with respect to a return. Assuming he suffers no setbacks during forthcoming Week 13 preparations, Rodgers looks destined to suit up as Doug Martin's primary backup against San Diego come Sunday.

Rodgers (foot) is inactive for Sunday's Week 12 tilt against the Seahawks, the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers was thought to have an opportunity to make his return as Doug Martin's primary backup Sunday, but the Bucs will exercise caution with his injured foot and hold him out at least another week. Peyton Barber figures to be the primary beneficiary of Rodgers' continued absence, with Mike James waiting in the wings as the seldom-used third backfield option.

Rodgers (foot), who practiced in full Friday, is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Seahawks, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The clearest indication yet that a return is imminent, Rodgers logged his first uncapped practice since suffering a sprained foot in Week 8. Even if he suits up Sunday, he may only have a change-of-pace role behind Doug Martin for a game or two due to the impending return of Charles Sims (knee). In any case, Rodgers' status will be monitored closely in advance of Sunday's 4:05 PM ET kickoff.

Rodgers (foot) was limited in practice Wednesday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
On Monday, head coach Dirk Koetter noted Rodgers may be a participant in practice this week because he viewed the running back working outside with the training staff. Recovering from a sprained foot, Rodgers may take it slow in order to avoid a setback. As a result, he could enter the weekend as something akin to a game-time decision. If active Sunday against the Seahawks, he would act as Doug Martin's backup, capping his potential.

Rodgers (foot) may take part in Wednesday's practice, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports. "We'll see what Wednesday brings," head coach Dirk Koetter. "I glanced outside and Jacquizz was out working on the field with trainers. We'll see."
EDGE Analysis
Held out of practice since suffering a foot sprain in Week 8, Rodgers' activity level will indicate whether a return is possible Sunday versus the Seahawks. No matter if he's cleared, though, Doug Martin is the main man in the Bucs' backfield, relegating Rodgers to a third-down role (at best) when active.

Rodgers (foot) has been ruled out of Sunday's contest at Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Rodgers has progressed to the point in his recovery that he's sans walking boot, but a sprained foot kept him in the training room rather than the practice field for the third consecutive week. Whenever he's able to receive clearance, he'll be working behind the recently-inserted Doug Martin, containing Rodgers to a change-of-pace role, at best.
