Tamme caught the only pass thrown his way for 17 yards Sunday against the Cardinals. Tamme's two-game touchdown streak comes to an end, an unlikely streak at that given that he only caught three passes for 26 yards over that span. He is a fair distance behind Julius Thomas on the depth chart and will continue to see most of his work as a non-returner on special teams, which keeps him very limited in most fantasy formats.

Tamme had two catches on three targets for 22 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Seahawks. Tamme had one catch for minus-four yards before catching a 26-yard touchdown pass with 18 seconds left to bring the Broncos within two (Peyton Manning would connect with Demaryius Thomas on the two-point conversion to force overtime). Tamme has now scored in back-to-back games, but he's only been targeted four times in that span while racking up 26 yards, which shows his inconsistency and minimal fantasy value in most leagues.

Tamme caught the only ball thrown his way Sunday against the Chiefs, but it was good enough for a four-yard touchdown. Tamme has primarily played on special teams this season, but the Broncos like to use him in a number of different spots, which included being the second tight end in a two-TE set near the goal-line in the second quarter that resulted in his touchdown. With Julius Thomas dominating the looks from the TE spot, Tamme remains a very limited fantasy option.

Tamme is expected to be the personal protector on the punt team in Week 2 against the Chiefs if David Bruton (shoulder) is unable to play, ESPN.com reports. Despite talk of getting added snaps out of the slot with Wes Welker suspended, Tamme spent a majority of Sunday's game against the Colts on the sideline, while accumulating one tackle on special teams. Even if he does see a more reps with the first team, there are just too many better options at quarterback Peyton Manning's disposal to rely on Tamme for much fantasy production.

Tamme could split time in the slot with wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders in place of Wes Welker, who is suspended for the first four games of the regular season, the Denver Post reports. Tamme has plenty of experience out of the slot, so it would be a somewhat natural fit to plug him in there. He is a very capable receiver but fell behind Julius Thomas on the depth chart last season, which severely limited his fantasy potential. Even if he does get a few more reps at the beginning of this season, his value will take a hit as soon as Welker returns.

Tamme could get more reps in the slot with Wes Welker potentially missing time with a concussion, according to ESPN.com. Tamme has become a forgotten man in Denver thanks to the emergence of Julius Thomas last season, but he's still a capable receiver who has played in the slot before. Despite the increased playing time, his fantasy value is still quite limited.

Jacob Tamme caught two passes for nine yards in Denver Super Bowl 48 loss. A second-quarter tight end screen to Tamme lost two yards when Seahawks NT Brandon Mebane ran him down in Denver's backfield. He did tack on an 11-yard reception in garbage time. Tamme turns 29 in March, and the Broncos may deem his $3 million base salary too pricey with Julius Thomas having emerged. Tamme would generate limited free agent interest if released.

Jacob Tamme caught two passes for 24 yards and a touchdown in Denver's AFC title game win over New England. Tamme hauled in the first touchdown of the game on quick rollout by Peyton Manning from one yard out. Tamme only scored one TD all regular season. He'll continue to be a limited-snap tight end in the Super Bowl.

Jacob Tamme was held catch-less in Denver's Divisional Round win. The Broncos were a three-receiver, one-back, one-tight end team ("11" personnel) in this one, with Wes Welker back healthy and Tamme rarely if ever seeing the field. Julius Thomas' primary backup at "move" tight end, Tamme is likely to be a non-factor in next week's AFC title tilt against the Patriots.

Jacob Tamme caught three passes for 29 yards in Week 17 against the Raiders. Tamme was used in a rotation with Eric Decker at slot receiver to replace Wes Welker (concussion). He made a ridiculous one-handed catch in the fourth quarter that as overturned, but did little else. Tamme finishes the 2013 regular season with 20 receptions, 184 yards, and one touchdown.
