DeVito was waived by the Giants on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

DeVito joined the squad as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois. Although he was solid in the preseason, the 25-year-old was unable to secure the No. 2 spot held by Tyrod Taylor behind starter Daniel Jones. DeVito will likely be a candidate for a practice squad spot.
